  1. Thanks Murphy, I have to say, when Palace were in the Prem, it wasn't the away fixture I most looked forward to travelling to most, only Spurs is worse!
  2. Hi Murphy, not being a native of the parish, I'm not sure how the area is traditionally split along footy allegiances. Is Peckham /East Dulwich more Milwall than it is Palace? BTW, I think I'm going to start watching Hamlet, bored of poncy premiership.
  3. *Bob* that is extraordinary. Ginger Joe is da man!
  4. Me too, though not sure most spurs fans wanted it anyway.
  5. yes it is, I got some done the other day, very friendly guy too. ?4.99 I think.
  6. A number of loft conversions have been cropping up in and around East Dulwich under 'permitted development' that extends over the outrigger of the property (i.e. above the kitchen L-shaped section of a standard East Dulwich terrace property). We are wanting to do the same thing but our application has been refused because.... according to Southwark Council this *isn't* covered under permitted development. So all those outrigger, loft conversions in East Dulwich that have either been completed recently (since '08 when the law changed) or are in the process of being built may be unlawful?!!! Yet this is being done without contest in other London boroughs and across the country. Have Southwark Planning department got it wrong? Does anyone have any experience of this? presumably There'll be some very unhappy residents out there when they find out they have to take it all down. Also - who's liable for that mistake? The loft conversion company or the owner?
  7. and there he is, BBW, in all his flaming glory...
  8. Hardly the greatest command of English yourself but then, you are a wolf.
  9. Goose Green would be perfect
  10. Hats off to Liverpool, they played brilliantly.
  11. How about... Saha, Beckford, Anichebe? No? ok.
  12. Has to be said, I'm can't wait for the game (chelsea) later, might even head down the rub a dub dub!
  13. I reckon there'll be two vacancies either side of Stanley Park this summer, not sure the club of the people would be able to keep up with the financial desires of M O'B. Thankfully.
  14. I'll happily spell it out for you then. Moyes' outburst earlier this week, might, just might have helped plant a negative seed into the heads of match officials where ref'ing Arsenal games is concerned. The revelation of your captain's tunnel outburst will have been noted by many referees, who are after all only human. Hope that's clear. Besides, surely Wolves have helped soften the blow.
  15. Wenger's men on the wrong of the ref's decisions. Take a bow David Moyes. Fabregas you are a marked man and your boss knows it.
  16. People, this guy is taking the peas! Don't entertain him or he just might blow your house down.
  17. Karter, sorry for lack of explanation. I just don't like 'pubs' and for that matter, bars that allow people to book tables. First come first serve a much better/ fairer policy.
  18. SM you either have a great sensitive memory or simply hold a grudge. Nothing to do with any pub in particular, other than those that allow people to reserve a table. Bygones SM, let them go, the world might suddenly seem a better place.
  19. Utter disgrace!
  20. apologies, neither, Murray.
  21. Murphy, spot on! esp Arnfield. Just to add about Colin Murray. I did my utmost to dislike him, professional kopite etc... but unfortunately I think he's really good, asks questions from the fans' perspective. The Friday night prog on 5 live with Nevin and Groves is fantastic, a breadth of fresh air. On tele though he seems intent on being slightly irreverent, probably to make his mark, definitely better on radio, for now.
  22. Agreed on Pearce, certainly a lot better once having joined BBC
  23. Alan Green crowing about his fall-out with (note the deference) 'Sir' Alex, really annoys me. He does speak his mind though, although a lot of it serves only to fuel his inflated ego.
  24. Danny Murphy, Pat Nevin
  25. Why are LFC fans so outraged by Torres? ok, great player, loved the club blah, blah, blah... Do they think that their club is above such disloyalty? This is modern-day football with modern-day footballers with modern-day footballer's attitudes.
