  1. Period drama perhaps? is the film black and white or a new film, can you name any of the actors? Thanks, got me bugged now and I haven't even seen it! ha!
  2. Well, bit of a prematureka there I guess!
  3. Eureka! its not that film where the guy dies and the wives suddenly discover at his funeral they were all married to the same chap is it? the semi funny film.
  4. Have to say, I am a complete film Buff and am racking my brains, any expansion on the description loveshovel, is it a horror, love story, weepy, true life or (although I doubt it) a comedy? Givusa clue, givusa clue! even the music, go on hum it and I'll see if I can track it down X ;-)
  5. On the contrary PR, I would never let anything or anyone's opinion on this thread bother me so much that I wanted to go and thump them (she lies, she lies!!), although I have to say sometimes it is entertaining, I appreciate your honesty and can't believe that you actually received threatening PMs in relation to anything you have posted on a forum, having said that, I have yet to check out your posting history ha! as a matter of fact, I have yet to check out my PMs!;-)
  6. I've often wondered why some things never get a mention on this forum, I understand that sometimes topics on the news etc. can sometimes be controversial, or some topics doing the rounds don't get mentioned because some are too worried about appearing less than intelligent for mentioning them, or it could just be that some topics are just so boring they illicit neither comment nor response (as I am sure this one will)- So heregoes putting my tuppenceworth in, sorry its lunchtime, I'm bored and its too cold to go out, please feel free to add any fantasy threads or funny ones:- 1. Celeb Big Bro - Terry to Win? 2. Pointless thread posters - what to do with them? 3.
  7. Oh, is that why they make so much noise, I always thought they were fighting eachother or getting attacked by cats so would run out (or stick my head out of the window) and throw something at them or shooosh them very loudly, not knowing I've been interuppting their moonlight romantic trysts!
  8. You might find that they don't (apart from trying to prevent the royal family from being embarrassed)like the term and find it offensive.
  9. Foxes are lovely creatures, but I have youngsters but believe me cleaning fox poop (because it is very distinctive smelling and runny) off of hands and faces when they fall into it is not a wonderous and joyous thing. I followed Keef's advice and got in touch with a local fox watch group from whom I purchased a product called "Scoot" which you mix with water and spray around and in the area they are staying. It makes them think that a bigger and badder fox has decided to move in on their territory and scent marked their dwelling and they move on and keep away from the area. Haven't gotten round do actioning yet but hope to do so soon.
  10. Said my piece am not going to get dragged into a racial debate, yes I know, you meant it tongue in cheek etc. and all that, but as they say, said in jest.... you go figure out the rest.
  11. Don't think you would find it quite such an affectionate term TLS if you were Asian and it was being used in a derogatory way towards you like, oi ***** go home! especially when you are out with your children and it is said with pure hatred in their eyes and your children fear for their safety, yeah, really affectionate!
  12. Absolutely horrendous service, when my contract with them finished I wasn't happy with their service and my inability to get through when I experienced problems so I switched providers and it took them 4 months to release my line to my new providers!
  13. You might need somebody - Randy Crawford ;-)
  14. I think it is more the fact that she got a bit of a name for herself in relation to other womens' husbands, she does seem to be a bit quick off the mark when it comes to, oh, new man lets have another baby though, but wish she would put that blasted bottle of water down, is it a comfort thing or is she just missing her man?
  15. Erm.... ok Keef ha!, got me a bit worried about your sanity there, then realised you were referring to another post! ha! Thought you were gonna say something along the lines of well nothing better than to let your ex see that you have let foxes move in on his turf, then remembered, I don't even have a signficant other half! ha! Thanks for the advice anyways and for taking the time to answer XX :))
  16. Unfortunately I have discovered foxes have taken up residence in my rather large garden shed, they got in through quite a big hole in the roof and because boxes are piled up quite high in there, they have been using them to nip in and out of the roof. I only just discovered them (2 I think) over the last few weeks. It appears as though they have been there a while because when I opened the shed door they sat over in the far corner on a pile of old soft toys staring at me and it looked like they'd built quite a den. Who do I call to have them removed? Do the RSPCA deal with the removal of animals of this nature or is it a pest control problem, I don't want them hurt or exterminated even though I now they are classed as vermin, I just want them removed, am hoping to pull the shed down and rebuild it and get rid of the cr@p in there in the spring. Many thanks in advance for any info.
  17. Ok Jeremy, point taken and I was rather rash in my generalisations, heat of the moment etc., what can I say...;-)
  18. She was talking about the average person on the street who has bought a home for themselves and then losing it when mortgagees call back their mortgages etc. as opposed to realators and estate agents to be honest, and yes, intended or not, I certainly detected a bit of morbid glee in there aimed at those who have found themselves in these situations, a lot of them are from working class backgrounds themselves who no longer wish to become burdens on society i.e. expect every other person to look after them. I am thankfuly not in that position as my mortgage is nearly paid off, but I know many who are, I'm sure to the joy of Ms Chav! Would they not then become a burden on the State because they then do fall into the category of genuinely needing shelter and homes, but guess what, they are all taken by people who don't actually need or deserve them.
  19. I'm sorry Chav, but you sound like a very bitter twisted person who takes joy in others (as long as they are not the working classes') misfortunes, I am sorry that you feel this way. On a number of occasions you have flipped from saying you would hate to own your own property to saying that is one of your main goals in life, to own your own property and land etc. but because people want to better themselves, because people want to work hard for what they get and have the opportunity of doing so instead of scrounging off the state screaming and demanding everything be given to them freely like it is their inherrant right, while erm the rest of us support your @rses, seems slightly twisted and selfish to me, to then express your obvious glee at families losing their homes and their lives being destroyed smacks of a little envy there, I would have loved to have known your views had mummy and daddy popped their cloggs and left you a house, land, money or whatever it is you so bitterly have a prob with other people having.
  20. I am in the lucky position of having bought my home for peanuts, (less than ?50,000) and have nearly paid off my mortgage, (well all but a few thousand pounds), I would hate to have lived my whole life paying all that rent month after month with nothing to show for it at the end of it all and the main reason for my buying was simply that fact, I just did not want to hand my money month after month over to the council with feck all to show for it at the end, as it is my mortgage is peanuts and a lot less than many are paying for rent, but my home is an asset and will be passed on to my kids to do with as they will, (at the mo it is worth around ?250k with the inflated prices im sure that will come down but still have a lot of equity in it) ultimately if you are renting the property it is not yours and all your money is just burning away and lining the council's pockets. So there are some pluses to owning!
  21. How awful for you, my thoughts go out to you especially at this time of year and knowing how hard gifts are to come by presently, but if neither of your deadbolts were on, will your insurance cover you for your loss?
