Conway?s setting up Road works at 1am outside house

Any ideas who to complain to? Eg > who in the council? Thanks When we lived top of Barry Rd by the library Conway were always drilling and digging after midnight & I used to ring & report to the council noise team - they check their system to see if the work is registered & each time it wasn?t so you need to report it that?s the only way to stop it happening & they then have to do it during the day -

I personally am glad that they are protecting staff & patients.

It does say on their website not to come in unless you have been asked to. As far as I am aware this is the same for all local practices, everything is done by phone or online & if the gp needs to see you face to face they then give you an appointment to come in. -
yes same happened to me last night it was taking me to an unsecure mail site so had to type in website address longhand

the isles of the new co-op are definitely wider & more spacious, must have been v busy when you went. We found they've added lots more new lines too. The new tills meant to stop shop lifting so can only be a good thing
-
the main difference is the new tills have a weight sensor in the bagging shelf so when you scan the item and don't put it down on the shelf side it knows & will throw a wobbly if you don't, thus preventing theft, hopefully

there is someone serving at the cigarette stand & new self serve tills. There is a big space at the front where the old tills & front isles were & that stuff is all in new chiller cabinets.

what to do if a shop is not taking covid seriously
Callie replied to fulfordf's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
None of the staff in Barry?s were wearing face masks last few times I?ve been in also there was no one at the door of Co-op on Saturday to control how many people were entering the shop and it was packed with no social distancing:/ -
just food and drink stalls were there just now

There are only 6 people at a time allowed in the main post office on Lordship Lane so that?s good & I don?t think they have stamps that you lick anymore as far as I know they are ones that you peel and stick. Having said that I popped into Farmers for some kitchen roll the shop was empty but all of a sudden there were people all around & I could hardly move , it was quite scary they don?t seem to control how many people enter the shop:(

He just knocked on my door too, I looked through the window to check if it was a delivery for someone else in the family, when I said no thanks through the window, he just said that's ok thanks and walked off quickly. I didn't see him use his mobile though.

I wonder if anyone has actually talked to the police about him, it doesn?t sound as if he?s even been reported because nothing has been done:( -

Callie replied to slarti b's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip

Noisy children late at night Hindmans Rd?

I've heard very noisy kids too, the sound really carries & echoes - not sure if they?re the same ones but I thought it was coming from one of the houses or flats on Barry Rd whose courtyard is the other side of the back gardens on Hindmans. I would definitely report it.
