  1. No the vets said they couldn't come out. It's in the road by the edge of the pavement.
  2. There is a dead fox outside no 313/315. Contacted vets who referred to fox project but they are closed. Feel terrible just leaving it don?t have a car. Can anyone help?

I've heard very noisy kids too, the sound really carries & echoes - not sure if they?re the same ones but I thought it was coming from one of the houses or flats on Barry Rd whose courtyard is the other side of the back gardens on Hindmans. I would definitely report it.

I do same as you with large cardboard that won?t fit in the bin & they always take it away so I think you?ve been unlucky also if you leave the cardboard to get wet/rained on it will soften up & you can tear it up easily into smaller pieces to go in the bin.

Collection is 'free' but you need to book it yourself either online or over the phone. Works out cheaper than having a large brown bin if you don't use it much.
  6. I used to have a small brown bin but it didn?t go too well and eventually I gave up. I think I threw it away in the green bin :O

I haven't made up my mind what to do yet.
  8. stating the obvious, the system just isn't working, why have a separate food bin if it all gets thrown together with the garden waste \0/ Waste collections have gone downhill. I definitely won't be getting a food waste caddy & messing around with that. Today my blue bin was emptied but my blue recycling box wasn't? I will be reporting a missed collection but I won't hold my breath as that system isn't working properly either.
  9. Thanks that would be great. I?m still putting my garden waste in the brown bin till they stop collecting it.
  10. Does anyone have a picture of the garden waste bags? ?15 for 20 seems very expensive to me especially as they were previously free and does that mean we still have to pay the 25 on top for having them collected?
  11. I like getting the free bags too. They are great for using as kitchen bin liners🙂

  15. Hi everyone. I don't think it's gazanias after having a quick google. Defintely not rocket - which I eat most days in my sarnies :) Definitely wouldn't eat this plant lol. It seems to be infested by something. Since I've had it this long might as well wait some more for clues ie buds & flowers. Might give it a quick spray with insect killer, feel silly if its a weed though :)
  16. This plant has made itself at home in one of my pots. I left it to see if any flowers would show but nothing only lots of leaves and it's getting quite big. Wondered if anyone knows what it is?
  17. we had our blue bin emptied about an hour ago but not the green, hopefully they will tomorrow as reported

  19. westerveld Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Anybody know why blue recycling bins have not been > emptied for the best part 4 weeks along Darrell > Road and surrounding areas? I don't think they have to put them back in your garden, ours are not on my road & it says on the leaflets that you are supposed to leave your bin outside your garden for their collection too.
  21. thanks, but I need only the Easter opening times - the ones where it says 'hours might differ' - they are the ones I need (because a lot of places are closed tomorrow till Tuesday).
  22. does anyone know if Dulwich Royal Mail delivery office is open tomorrow Good Friday? or when it's next open? Thank you
  23. Does anyone know when they are open over the next few days? Doesn't say on the card they dropped through the door & I can't find anything online.
