I popped into the vets on Wednesday & spoke with the manager. He's aware of the plans & assured me they are staying. He said their lease doesn't run out for a good few years & if anything they will be gaining more space to expand the premises.

Dulwich Leisure Centre..poor management

Also agree they need to fix the aircon. We have a membership 4,5 years now & half that time it hasn't worked. Recently the floor in the gym has been strewn ankle deep with blue paper towel from the loos from everyone mopping up their sweat in the heat - it is just awful. -
The Neighbourhood Vets is the best around & one of the best things to happen to this area in a long time. I do so hope that we don't lose them!

Fly Tipper on Silvester Road in blue T-shirt

Fly-tipping is > anti-social. no point posting it on here, you need to report it to Southwark Council, like the op said,so they can do something about it - like come & take it away, because you know the guy who dumped it won't. -
The vets & barbers are staying,it's only the boarded up bit that's being done up from what I understand. I personally would find a small supermarket handy. I do love Barry's though & would definitely use both since it's nearer to me from home.

Fire, fire engine & police in The Gardens a short white ago, anyone know what happened? Just wondered if it was The Doctor's Surgery?

A little too tall for my liking by 2 floors. It would be great if the Chinese & Indian takeaways came back.

Thank God it has finally stopped & thank you so much to whoever got them to turn it off. Can finally relax now :O)

Vodaphone is rubbish in some parts of our house & we usually end up having to go the kitchen & out into the back garden decent reception.

I thought the signal boxes were for boosting 3g signal. Most are on 4g now.

I wonder how long before M&S open? I'm looking forward to it now. Can't see myself doing main shop there but it will be good for odd stuff here & there.

Hi Huggers, did they say what caused it & how to stop it? Did you manage to get rid of yours?

There are quite a lot of trees quite close by, some apple trees and plum I think, that I recognise. I'm not sure if the leaves match as they are not my garden. Some neighbours have been chopping down their trees & sawing off branches & I'm wondering if this might have caused it?

Thanks everybody for your replies. My camera has been playing up so haven't been able to take any good photos. I've added a few, be it blurry ones.

Not sure why or what to do or if anyone else has had this problem but for some strange unknown reason we have loads of tree 'shoots' popping up all over the place in the back garden, including in our new lawn. It's very unsightly. Next door has them too! We never had this until this year. They are very tough to pull out as I think they are coming from the roots of a big tree somewhere else? Any gardeners out there that could shed some light on what's happening & if there is anyways to stop it? Thanks

Well I would not recommend Saied.I messaged him a few weeks ago - he saw & read my message & never replied to it.I also think it's very weird how he has copied & pasted 'other's' recommendations throughout this thread so many times, very odd.
