  3. Just bought some Blossom Hill White Zinfandel in Family Stores on Upland Rd, doesn't taste right. No sell by date on it but says 2013 on the small label on the back. It's meant to be fruity & fresh, um more like fusty & funny I'd say, with a hint of old socks! Prolly serves me right for getting the cheapest bottle, which wasn't really cheap at at ?6 short of a penny.
  4. Yes it's a shame they are closing. They are online for delivering to some SE15 postcodes now so hopefully won't be long till SE22 ones are on their list. There's still the one on Rye Lane for occasional stock up.
  5. When you say 'out for a meal' did this happen in a restaurant? What happened exactly?

  9. Must say one thing I really can't stand is when there's someone sat behind me on the bus, or in front, stuffing their face with a greasy takeaway, munching away & the smell of it does makes me gag. I think it's so rude & inconsiderate to other passengers. I've seen no eating etc stickers on buses, not sure about other public transport, but a lot of people still don't take any notice. Bus driver doesn't kick them off or anything as a conductor might have done back in the day - perhaps there should be a fine as deterant?
  10. No I own the property. Member of family opened the door as they were expecting a parcel. Luckily they said 'no' & closed the door on them as they were still half asleep lol. I will give TW a call tomorrow if I get a mo to find out what's going on.
  11. Someone, from Thames Water knocked on my door this morning & asked if they could take a water sample? Is this normal? Not had any info through the door. I'm off Upland Rd, North Cross Rd end. Just wondered if it's happened to anyone else?
  12. They do a mixed menu meals from all different countries.
  13. I don't think it should ever have been called a 'hotel', very misleading. Must have been an awful shock to all those who had the misfortune to book at what they thought might be a lovely quaint East Dulwich Hotel (lol)

I agree. I think it's good to have a variety of shops to suit all pockets. I for one wish we could still have an Iceland & if I had a magic wand I'd put it where Foxton's is.

  17. I don't like anything about them & think they look odd where they are placed in the grass. They make the place look untidy.
  18. I totally agree. And if it is true why not put this information under 'appointments'? It's not clear at all.Has anyone actually asked them about this, I wonder?
  19. Yes I've just had a quick look at DMC CPR website & under 'appointment' it clearly doesn't say you book by email. Yet some digging around on the website under 'contact' they briefly mention patient access? Very odd & confusing for patients. DMC Chadwick Rd are cleared about patient access & offer it under 'appointments' as they should.

  21. Where are all these places you mention? It would have been good to have some pics to get an idea.
  22. Thanks, it's good to know there is that option as it is rather a lot. Got my new statement yesterday.
