Surely PD best just to apologise for what was perhaps a misunderstanding and move on?
  2. I was up ?3 yesterday - but I wont be owning up to my losses over the next three days as history suggests Cheltenham can be embarrassingly bad for me.... just glad to get one day out of the way without losing.
  3. No tips ? So far I have done 1.30 Faugheen 4.00 Balthazar King and ?.. LOVE RORY ! 5.15 Kintullagh Vic

  6. I will be ?3 !!! up after taking into account my bets in the last race being: Close House and Pendra So I'm already guaranteed to be up after day 1, assuming they both lose. Almost unheard of. What made my day was the in paly bet on the 2.40, but no skill involved there.
  7. Am up a bit after 5 races, this is good. Going with Firm Order in the 4.40... Has everyone else given up?
  8. Going with the Fly in the 320. And taking the "odds on" Quevega in the next. Plus savers on cockney sparrow and highland retreat.
  9. Ha - backed Holywell at 5.4 when vintage star exited early stages. Bit of a panic bet. Not sure that counts as a winner, but its a profit for the day at the moment.
  10. Going Trifolium in 2.05 and Vintage Star in the 2.40

  12. The funny thing about this was that when the plumber did arrive, he was on foot, tools in satchel. Storm in a teacup.

Never again should a team take over the lions as if it was their own. They were good yes, but never as good as they thought they were. Great performance by England and it seems only a late French try has prevented them winning a grand slam (cant see them losing to Italy).
  14. Reading all of these positive posts of the exhibition is great. Really looking forward to having our own cinema - what fun.
  15. I have never been a regular pizza eater and it's never on our takeaway agenda. However a couple of times a year I'll do the Gowlett pizza, or on holiday in France it seems to pop up. But thin crust must have been the original and I can't see thin crust being particularly lardy. ??

  24. Saw The Weir a couple of weeks ago. It was very good, featuring Dervla Kirwan, Ardal O Hanlon Brian Cox. Not quite as mesmeric as the reviews perhaps but def worth seeing.
