The post match interview was a brave and humbling experience. It was similar to Rory McIlroy after the Masters debacle. It takes a lot of courage to face the music after such a disappointment.

Faldo was a similar personality and its the determination that is needed to achieve. His dour Scottish accent doesn't help.

Its adopting sports where the olympic medal means very little to that particular sport, tennis, golf and football being examples.

They measure everything in kilometers, asset. Kilometers go a lot faster than miles, in my experience.
