I don't think an ed cinema would ever work. Most ED peeps watch their movies on tablet or handheld. Unless its a Vue it will probably strugle. ED is one of the many nappy valleys. Nappies and cinema don't go together. Cinema cost is outweighed by babysitter cost. Cinema is supposed to be a inexpensive night out. But with babysitter costs its a non starter. Young 20 somethings are the core cinema market (i guess) and they are not a majority in ED.

Last year I got one, 90 euro, on the spot fine and got flashed by speed cameras 3 times. Luckily did not hear more on the speed cameras. this i blame on buying a new car which had a built in sat nav. The stick on tom tom I had in previous years on the old car always told me where the cameras were. Boo.

I suspect those are included. But I think its England's record in qualifying that is generally very good. As I say they generally only lose one big game every two years (and I don't know if the loss on penatlies would be treated the same as a loss in 90mins? )

Their record therefore looks very good in general. Whatever way the world rankings work (and I don't know) I think they fail to give sufficient bonus points to countries that get to WC and Euro semis and finals, which in general England don't achieve. To have England above Italy and Netherlands takes some doing. Therefore something is wrong in the logic somewhere. But then its maybe not that different from Luke Donald and Lee Westwood being world golf number 1, having never won a major. Maybe we have to accept that this is how rankings work.

Posession wise Italy did much better against Spain than other teams, posession was quoted as 50:50 with not much of the game to go. On this occaision Spain took their chances very well. Italy generally shooting from distance. It was good to watch, probably the first international final for some time that did not disappoint.

England to win on penalies due to Hart being better prepared?

For the last 60 or so minutes I have been watching Steven Gerrard and he has been a complete passenger. Shocking.

If you knew how Shilton performed as Forest won league championships and European cups you would know Hart has a bit to go. Goalkeepers gain their status over 20 years not 2 years.

I think if England win they might have a big performance from Joe Hart to thank for it. For me he is the best England keeper since Shilton and that can make a huge difference to the outcome of a game.

I can't really think of a basis for this England team beating Italy. I hope I'm wrong but using the Ukraine game as a barometer I think this England team is ok but not as good as Italy. Sincerely hope I'm wrong. It's a very exciting prospect none the less and I hope England get the luck that they don't normally get at this stage of competitions.

Just watched the wonder from down under Black Caviar. Job done but only just. Probably not the best ground for her and a long trip to the UK is going to take a fair bit out of the horse. The Aussie jockey is taking it very badly, really feel for him. In the end he tried not to be too hard on the horse, and nearly messed up, but it still won. The end of the BBC coverage of Ascot is sad. Not massively keen on Claire Balding, but I do like the fun she has with Willie Carson, and I think the BBC deserves some racing.
