  1. All depends upon the tax decision - But it could be a case of - Footie people don't have to pay tax, do they Harry. They might get off. I don't really care either way as the league was in the bag. ;-) Show me the money, backed Celtic when 12 points behind. But then I back them most years.

  4. There was a very well attended presentation by the head and staff last night. All very impressive. The Governors have done an excellent job in selecting the new head. Onwards and upwards.

  7. Law 10.4(j) reads: Lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst that player?s feet are still off the ground such that the player?s head and/or upper body come into contact with the ground is dangerous play. El Pibe - for it to be a penalty it has to be dangerous. If you watch it, the tackled player had his foot on the ground before falling to the side. It's questionable as to whether it is dangerous, but I'm all in favour of safer rules, I guess there is no reason to lift a player.
  8. Judge is a Spurs fan by the sound of things.
  9. That's an incredible decision. I like Harry a lot, but he has dodged a bullet there. I can only guess that his popularity played a part in the jury's decision. Let's hope he is more "correct" in his dealings going forward.
  10. Agreed Declan. Dont think anything will come of the Ferris citing. Davies will be upgraded to red I reckon.
  11. Citings ...

I was at the game Declan, it was a fantastic match apart from the first 20 mins whihc was a bit slow. Great finish, unfortunatley we were on the wrong end of it this time. Can't diagree with you about Wales being the better team, but Ireland are developing a losing habit in the 6 nations and a win would have been nice. Looked good at 23-15 with 10 mins to go. The Life without Brian....looms large.
  13. Sir Sub Prime (US citizen) should have lost his knighthood. It's all his fault.

That's the boss for you.
  16. Does he really deserve to lose his knighthood - to be treated like the traitor Anthony Blunt. I think its wrong. And a dangerous precedent. There was no intent to do.wrong.
  17. Blue Moon....Blue Velvet .....its tight at the top now.
  18. Yes yes yes. When are they arriving? I have just read this whole thread just to get up to date on this issue. The different opinions are fascinating.

  20. Certainly booing Evra is not necessarily racist. He was probably targeted due to being part of a racist dispute with Suarez.
  21. That's a very balanced assessment. For me price is not a big deal either. But its a bit school dinner in terms of comfort which just makes it feel cheap to me. And the knives and forks just reinforces that. The food is good but I would not leave ED for it. Looking forward to Mikes dim sum review tonight though.
  22. Who was your editor tonight Jah. He missed a few typos but we get the drift. Should be a super weekend. Wife and daughters are away. Just me and little Rory and he wants to watch all the sport going this weekend. He told me so imself.
  23. Can you please keep your knife and fork that you have just used for your starter and keep it for your main course. Because we can't be bothered to wash them for you. No I fuck ing can't.

If Rangers lose Jelovic they will be significantly weakened, I can't see then being able to get someone in as good as him at short notice. Celtic seem determined to keep their best players at least to the end of the season.
  25. Shit or piss poor, I can't recall.
