Christmas Day is on the 25th. But not exclusive to Dulwich.

rh: Ireland losing to Wales, and also to England away. That will be interesting.

Possibly split them on who won between the two teams. But that might be unfair as only play once and one team is at home.

We changed from Virgin on Friday last week to BT Infinity - and BT is superb compared to Virgin (Friern Road) Apparently we were only getting 4 (mpbs or whatever it is called) with Virgin and now 45 with BT. We didn't need it for work but with Virgin we couldn't download on demand in HD (eg Sky on demand) as the programme would run at a speed quicker than the download speed !! All works brilliantly now. and we have BT sport at ?6 per month as part of package which was actually the driver of the change. so everyone's happy.

Wedding first dance and pre marriage counselling recommendations
Mick Mac replied to Blueskye's topic in The Lounge
We got pre marriage counselling from a priest (compulsory if you are getting married in a catholic church, which I only did to keep my parents happy). Not sure how much he knew would / could know about marriage though. He basically said, you will have a fair few arguments. Don't expect the perfect love-in to last forever. Learn to get through the difficult periods as best you can. Having said that I'm not sure how much he knew about marriage, it turns out he knows all about it. There are quite a few failed marriages in ED - so to be honest you might love the person forever and you might not. Be ready for some difficult times, but all in all it's definitely worth it. Particularly if you have children, they bring their own pressures, massive lifestyle changes, hard work and great joys and rewards. Its a team effort. -

He certainly came close. The Chelsea spoiler game still rankles with me - must be much much worse for Liverpool fans. He was in talks with Liverpool recently and with them potentially challenging this season he might have asked about his chances of getting a game.

Of course, there aren't many people who wouldn't be embarrassed by Messi. Other than that Brown had a fabulous game. He's our best player.

Thoroughly enjoyed our exit from Europe last night. We certainly fronted up to Barca and to put it in a positive light had 6 attempts to their 7. No shame there. Celtic are a completely different team under Rodgers. Bit of a shame that the Man City game is now a completely dead rubber, with the group decided but there you go. It was a very tough ask from the start, with the third seeded team in the group being from the Bundesliga.

I'm hoping to avoid another Barca drubbing tonight. Unfortunately Messi seems to be well again :( Need to start the game like we did against Man City and not how we started against Borussia. Looking forward to watching it anyways. It's better to be in these things, can only help long term.

Even the champions league is second place to points in the premiership if that the case.

Good God - I had to go to page 3 of the Lounge to find this thread. Did nothing happen in football recently, or even last night?

I thought this thread was going to be about Micky Flanagan. Out out.

AJ Farmers As Jimmy Nesbitt once said to me - "it sells absolutely everything for absolutely nothing" Oh yes he did..... That's a celebrity positive shout out. He may not remember.

And Cave Bruno. Love the fact that "one" can have a very sophisticated tipple sitting outside. Great wine selection if French is your thing.

I'm guessing they are trying to build that up - knowing it's not offensive - I'd call that cocking about as MP puts it.

Good lad :) Positive feedback for the very nice lady who works in Badger Bakery. Don't know her name but she looks after me and son Rory when we go in occasionally and is very good with him when he is being indecisive. Always greeted with a smile.

Wasn't actually, but you did write "knowingly offensive" jibe at a race group - which i guess you don't support. But having seen what he said - "travelling the world like gypsies", I struggle to see how you see this as offensive, or did he say something else?
