So, doctors and nurses paid for by the British taxpayer, to look after an increasing number of immigrant patients?

  3. Zedel, I too was also disappointed with on my last visit. I have now discovered Caf? Monico, just off picadilly. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186338-d10148190-Reviews-Cafe_Monico-London_England.html
  4. Wenger has arrived for press conference....is this it? 09:33 The future No matter what happens, I will manage next season, whether it's here or somewhere else I am not sure. On a night like that, I hate defeat and I want to do extremely well for this club. I feel a big responsibility. You do not work here for 20 years and walk out of a game like that and whistle. 8. Sounds a bit 1980s Tom O'Connor. First year with my wife (then girlfriend) in 1995, I booked Granita in Islington for Valentines night (restaurant later famed for being the venue for the Tony Blair / Gordon Brown leadership discussions). Booked it about a month in advance. At that stage it would have been for us a reasonably expensive restaurant anyway but they then rang me the day before and advised their special menu for the night of ?100 per head (or contemporary equivalent price) was in operation - did I want to confirm my booking - we agreed to say no and went for a curry instead as everything else was by that time booked up. Lovely curry at the Sunderban on the Blackstock Road - with Kingfisher too :)

  14. Using more than one agent can be a sign of a seller who is very keen to maximise the selling price. When an offer is accepted, its worth asking that you see this acceptance in an email (written from the seller to the agent). It's not a legal commitment, but its at least evidence that the seller has accepted your offer and that they state that the house is off the market. maybe next time ask to see something like this before engaging solicitors / suffering costs In your case, whilst agent 1 may not have being taking additional viewings, as he's happy to have a sale and the commission, he cant speak for agent 2, who still wants to steal the sale. Hence it's useful to have something informal in writing from the vendors that no one is still advertising the property for sale. All a little too late now though. Bad luck, not a very nice outcome.

Sorry - I didn't join as site seems to be barred at work. Soz - enjoy.
  16. Sorry - it was two years ago - my mistake. Wales certainly didn't deserve to win that year's 6 nations (imo) on any reasonable basis and a try fest against Italy is possibly the reason for the rules changing. In fact it was a "dull" defensive performance by Wales against Ireland that year, that prevented Ireland winning the GS. But i'm not bitter. Now we have Andy Farrell, we can do dull and defensive too.
  17. Agree - the last day games were great and amazingly some very close points difference finishes - but I think the bonus points system will be fairer. Someone often hammered Italy on the last day, like Wales did last year (and Ireland did in previous years), which under the old system gives too much of an advantage. Will be interesting to see how it pans out. In trying to compare to previous tournaments, they could be comparing the table after 4 games (rather than just the finished table), to see if going into the last set of fixtures brings the same level of anticipation/excitement. I don't know if that's been done.

I can see his point. The constituents everywhere have already voted.

  20. My mate sent me an email yesterday about a horse, just AFTER it won at 33/1. He previously emailed me a "tip" about the same horse in its previous race, just BEFORE it lost.
  21. "The apolitical thread. Discuss anything but - Please" Surely that's what the rest of the forum is for?
  22. Indeed not - is this supposed to be a favourable thread? - if so i'll butt out.
  23. Ha - good luck with the sales Richard (aka Bugman?)
  24. Good luck to him. That beats talking about the girls he fancies whilst cutting the hair of my 7 year old.
  25. Moussa pictures on flight to Heathrow : i'm not sure whether to buy into the knee scan cover http://football-talk.co.uk/120884/photos-striker-flies-in-to-london-amid-30m-chelsea-bid-reports/
