We got ours at House of Fraser, they are not cheap but they have regular sales and apparently people only buy in their sales. Had them 3 years and still like new.

Nope, nothing - actually Quids believe it or not I used to not bet frequently - hence I was careful and profitable - before I started posting on here I picked my bets quite carefully. Anyway - My prominent next "intended" bet is, surprise surprise, on Rip van winkle for the Irish Champion Stakes on 5 Sep. Just going to check the odds..... 5 September is also my birthday!!! so I'm deciding whether that should mean I bet more or less, as a present to myself.

I posted on the footie thread. Too long winded to repeat. Basically they were better (and luckier) than us.

Obviously Arsenal were always going to be the better team. I had thought Celtic would be more attacking in their team selection - One up front is defeatist (and that one should have been McDonald rather than Samaras, who is rubbish). Arsenal looked a good side but needed a bit of luck. They had only 5 shots on target, which is probably less than they would have in most premiership games. But there can be no arguements about the winner. They deserved to come out on top. 1-0 might have given us some hope. I don't fear for Celtic at the Emirates, although we rarely win away from home we are rarely embarrassed either. I can't go without one little whinge about the referee - he obviously thinks football is a non contact sport. Its a mans game and Arsenal played on his softness. Certainly not a homer.

Athletics might be my new thing. 100% record. When's that Richards girl running next? might check the Racing Post.
