  2. Arsenals odds have come in from 9.6 to 6.6 on betfair just based on tbis weekends results.
  3. Bit of a slow thread - will be lucky to get to 7 posts. 00.
  4. Funny that, I find myself drawn to them, must be the drink.
  5. Poor start for the Pool - but to be fair thay had the toughest opening game. Anyone on the forum support Spurs? per chance?

  7. Sounds like a good one. I don't understand why I was not invited. Heard nothing.
  8. Not yet Quids. The trouble is I think Harringtons odds are too generous and I don't want to offer those odds. And with the possibility of winning close to ?500, taking 30 or 120 feels like giving an opportunity away. (I'm predictable as always). I hope they will come together at some point - if they do I'll back Tiger - he may be about 1.7 then. That way a ?50 bet on Tiger will cover my stake with a Tiger win and all upside on Harrington then. Of course if Tiger makes the best start then he will probably go on to win and I won't have hedged, so I'm hoping Padraig out ahead of Tiger will make an early birdie. Of course I'm assuming its between Padraig and Tiger, I'm ignoring the others. I also have ?20 on Rory at 66/1 but it seems his chance has gone now.

  10. Look - lets just drop this - Foxtons are a bunch of watsers and don't deserve the attention. woofmarkthedog Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No because it's a good thread > > > "Betting " lets drop that ? > > > Back to your stable ......"neigh" > > > W**F Didn't you get my watsers joke Woof? The whole thread has derived from wat HB sed earlier.
  11. I have noone else to talk too - everyone else is in bed and babysitter has gone home. Oh and Alan Shearer is boring me.
  12. Blimey - Have just seen Adebayors goal for City today - what a cracker.
  13. I have never looked good in a hat - So a'm afread wee man, a'm ooot.
  14. I thought Arsenal were rubbish today, got lucky 6 times and I think Celtic will embarass them on Tuesday.
  15. Hey - I don't know this Mick Mac guy but he really knows his football....does he not.....
  16. Great tourmament the PGA. I used to think of it as the also ran of the 4 majors but the names who have won it over the lst 10 years is a real role of honour. Sounds like Singh refused to talk to the media, that seems to have been implied by the Sky commentators. Thats poor and I have to say I have never been a fan of Singh since he complained about the females (Annika) playing in the male tournaments.
  17. Look - lets just drop this - Foxtons are a bunch of watsers and don't deserve the attention.
  18. Pleased with the golf Harrington has had a fantastic 16 holes has closed to one behind Woods. Looks like they will be out together tomorrow and Harrington likes to play with Tiger. Have 30 on Padraig at 16s so may be seeking Quids advice on how to maximise my opportunities tomoz.
  19. I have backed Arsenal at 7.6 on betfair, so I'm an Arsenal fan this season. A smaller bet on Chelsea. But its Arsenal for me. I had chosen them but noticed their odds had come in 2 full points on betfair just for their first half performance against Everton, so I have placed my bet in a rush. Obvioulsy I'm confident Celtic can put up more of a fight than Everton.
  20. Chelsea not looking too convincing for 70 mins but played with more width after Deco came on and looked much more threatening then with a lot more width. Got a late winner through a cross cum shot from Drogba so will be glad they have made it through this one. Honest of Drogba to admit it was a cross in post match interview. Chelsea top in England Celtic top in Scotland....they looked strong and Arsenal willbe worried.
  21. Declan - the reason for not doing that is I'm in the same league at work too and my edf name would look odd. I suspect that applies to others too.
  22. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Arsenal v Everton 2.7 lay - we shall see > > just reviewed last 3 months P&L on betfair.....in > profit...er just under ?7! I'm def not in profit for last 3 months Quids. A pretty big dent in my annual profit - I have been keeping my records from the USPGA last year. Despite winning ?330 on MU i am still down for the last few months.
  23. Kells Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I didn't realise Sea The Stars was running on > Tuesday, I thought he was a non-runner - does > anyone fancy a trip to York? > > (Although I am tempted to lay him, and then go and > water the course:)) I have ?20 on Mastercrafsman in case sea the stars does not run or does not like the ground - also he has to lose eventually.
  24. welcome back quids. We are all ready for the big kick off. I have invested in sky and am tipping arsenal for the title. No money on yet though.
  25. you can buy espn on its own on channel 34 matt and on virgin or bt without paying anything to sky. I think. Hence it can be a separate product to extent.
