  1. The former electric shop, next to the DIY shop near the Library, has a small sign saying Italian Deli and cafe opening soon.
  2. Who might MU spend the money on? Is Ribery good enough?
  3. my 4 year old daughter gets jealous if i cuddle my wife. Today she came into the bedroom and said "daddy - go back to your own pillow".
  4. Kenny beats Ray For those Liverpool fans too young to see it at the time.
  5. Matt - good to meet you tonight. I was thinking that beating SA ia all about brawn. If we can match them in the forwards, then I think our backs are better than theirs, some of the backs' moves in this tour (where the 1st choice back row has been mostly in place) have been amazing and the second half tonight they were superb. I'm really optomistic.
  6. Maybe "ontheedge" should rename himself "onthefence". TLS has at least put forward a point that provokes debate.
  7. Eliza.D - Even huge penises disappear eventually.
  8. Boxers in January Quids, ....cold
  9. I have potentially got another drinks Matt - are you a mind reader (or just assume me to be an alcoholic socialite?) Its Lions before footie for me but if the Lions drink does not come off I'll be at the Vale. Cheers for the mob number.

The Independent article MP attached referred to a "confused electorate" in the last sentence which is very apt. That sums it up - people were looking on this occaision for parties not to vote for rather than to vote for - and found the BNP, won't happen again. If the system allowed for negative voting Labour would have received a lot of negative votes - as would Conservatives - but the system only allows for positive voting and hence people refuse to vote for Labour/Tory and as a protest they choose parties they actually know very little about = BNP won these seats by default in my opinion - they will not get any seats at a General Election.
  11. Greenkin I'm not a food journalist and have been to Arbutus and was as disapointed as you appear to have been with Franklins, I have been to Franklins quite a few times and have only been disappointed once. Its a local favourite and bearing in mind the poor quality of any recent new openings in ED we are very lucky to have Franklins. Having a Michelin star restaurant in ED in an unreasonable expectation. A few more to Franklins' standard would be great. Perhaps you could have a go?
  12. Oh yes (churchill dog grin)
  13. Elizabeth Taylor (younger version - v nice)
  14. So Matt - can we recognise you by your mobile?

  16. What about an EDF all weekend drinks. Start Friday lunchtime and end on Monday night. Round my house, all welcome. Bring your own drink, I'll be away.

More fool > me. No - I did not meet him TLS - It was my first job, I was too junior and was not allowed to meet clients. Spoke to him on the phone once, he seemed ok. Also he was a local hero in Northern Ireland. Have always meant to get into his music and have watched him on Youtube following one of your previous posts, really talented guy.
  19. I used to do Rory Gallagher's Tax Return :))
  20. I was not going to comment on the not washing hands issue TLS - I just can't quite believe that someone would not wash hands - its hard to prove he did not, unless Daizie was in there with him. But yes anyone who does not wash their hands after the loo should be dumped immediatley - goodness knows what else they do not wash.
  21. Have to say BBW - that Daizie's not half bad looking - I thought you said you did not know her?
  22. Leave a deoderant canister on the loo next time - he might be tempted to use it and open the window too. If he does not you can go in and spray it for a very long time, he will get the message.
