Please stop it and talk > some sense! *tut tuts* Well thanks for that Kel - if you don't like the thread you don't have to comment. Surely we are not all on here to talk sense. Life's rather dull when we all talk sense.
  2. lilly allen is good at what she does and has made the most of her abilities, so i guess i admire her for that. Chrisie is in another league however and her talents have stood the test of time. Maybe being vegan is the way forward if you want to look good at 58.
  3. I'm going to bed now Rosie. Tomorrow I'll be fine.
  4. Yep - that sort of humour doesn't impress anyone.
  5. Rosie - A girl once said to me, you remind me of someone famous - I hoped for a positive outcome - she came back a while later and said - I know who it is now - you remind me of Roy Walker! shocked I was - but I said: "Sorry love, you're close, but you're not right. Say what you see, here it is again"
  6. I like to BBQ on charcol - and I like to char the meat too - nice chacol taste on the outside as long as not overcooked throughout, that is the taste for me.
  7. Hooray......you see you never know when Admin is watching.
  8. I agree MP - Jessica Lange was hot in that movie, under Jack Nicolson's spell. Jack Nicolson's hands
  9. Daisy looks like she's waiting for something.
  10. Quids - was it a Ford GT?
  11. I think you outdid him regular Mike - but he must have made a one off "biggie" for Admin to make him a lifer...
  12. Is that you Wanno? Still searching for the surname. Current favourite? Wanno Spank my ass....as I pass?
  13. Just Heineken Quids. But I don't have the highest standards when sober, so its not a big step. Always liked Chrisie though. Never liked Lilly Allen at all until I came home after a few beers at EDT blues night Sunday night but having started a thread saying she was nice I thought I could not back down. Was amazed at how many posts the thread got though.
  14. I checked out what my employer life insurance would pay out in the event of my death today and found out I am worth massivly more dead than I am alive. I'm tempted not to go on. So on my tombstone I will go for: "He partied hard in his short time, but his life was well insured. Now his wife and family can party too.." Contrast with Spike Milligan: "I told you I was ill....." Actually it was written in Irish "Duirt me leat go raibh me breoite". Which is more words than "I told you I was ill" but there you go. What's your epitaph?
  15. Ghee whiz Sherwick - you might want to delete that one in the morning - to preserve your high reputation in the forum I have declined to quote you in my reply, because I'm nice and I feel for you. you can delete that and noone will know (apart for me).
  16. He at least had the balls to make his points openly....no hidden agenda and a great sense of humour.
  17. How old were you TLS at this weeks birthday or is that personal? I think you have mentioned it before but I have plain forgot - the gap between your age and Esther might not be as much to swallow as Mikecg and Esther.
  18. I miss his dialogue with DM - but she seems to have moved on too.
  19. Cromwell stood and said [from Wikipedia, I think] " you are not and will no longer be Champions - in your place Manchester United shall now reign over this land...from now and from this day forward." Cromwell continued "I accuse Graeme Souness of being a jugler, Kenny Dalglish of being a whoremaster, Gerard Houlier of being a drunkard (of fine wine no doubt) and Rafa Benitez of cheating the public (with home draws v Fulham etc)".... Alex Ferguson pulled Benitez from the chair....and said "don't you ever rant at me again you Dag* loser - you will get what you deserve... many years in a middle age, mid upper table wilderness" ....Ferguson reaches for the celebratory laphroig malt...and thinks of Cromwell.
  20. I think he has served his time (albeit I am oblivious as to why he was banned, so can't really comment on that). Any chance of him being allowed back Admin? If he promises to be a good wolf? I know he was rude on occaision, but I for one found him a great asset to the Fourm - any other BBW forgivers out there?
  21. Lulu does it for me.
  22. Well, for a woman of 58!! years of age - she is fantastic (cool older rock chick). She is on Jools on BBC2 now if you want to check her out... I'm wondering what she might have in common with Lilly Allen and I have decided I like the mid length dark hair with straight across fringe. Slightly over her eyes in Chrissie's case, she looks through her fringe. what 50+ does it for you?
  23. Lovely, just lovely.
