  1. I was referring to your "How come the bus can turn?" question.
  2. It wore off for me, eventually..
  3. What Keef said. And you can quote me on that.
  4. It's not that unusual to have a junction which is "No Left (or right) Turn Apart from Buses" is it? I'm guessing you're referring to the sign outside Foxtons on here View Larger Map As it's past the junction it refers to a subsequent turning, Matham Grove from the looks of it.
  5. Rafa not surprising me in the slightest there. So it's City and Liverpool on the Thursday night slog round Europe, playing Sunday every week to play catch up with those around them... Regardless of how they get on in the Champs League it's the playing Tuesday/Wednesday so OK for league games on Saturday which is the big win for Spurs this week.
  6. What's the currant thinking on this?

For balance and being aware I've reported much more than my fair share of suspected self referees, it is possible they have reputations in their fields as individuals and have just started trading under this name. I'd also say their conduct on here is thus far potentially naive (charitably) and they will take the advise to withdraw. That'd be for the best all round really eh? There's lovely.

It works well, I use it every day.
  9. I was going to post a link to the Daily Mail headline generator but I think it's now redundant. Brilliant.
  10. I quite like a Friday thread as it goes. This weekend has so far involved a lie in, a walk through Sydenham Hill Woods and a couple of pints in the Dulwich Woodhouse. Now I know pubs are in general more family friendly these days but jeez, at a guess there were around 5-6 couples / small groups of adult without kids, and the rest of the pub was entirely families with kids. No doubt I will avidly not watch the X Factor tonight (ahem), tomorrow I have no plans. Bliss.

    Spotify

As an aside we have spotify, napster and last.fm (there are reasons, honest!) and at the moment I'd say we use Napster most because it integrates best with our squeezebox system. Spotify is good though, it's not unusual for it to have tunes Napster doesn't as well as the playist sharing stuff, never use that though. PM sent re the invitation.
  12. Jah, you're near Melford / Wood Vale iirc - Vodafone is OK for you at home? I'm near you and with T-mobile and looking to change.. although Vodafone would be a push admittedly with their Man U associations.
  13. Not read the thread but the squatting one was good. And the clowns. And the bleedin' Waitrose. I feel crushed and devalued.
  14. Students eh?
  15. Possibly, although true On Demand is difficult and relies on fast connections, faster than most people have at the moment I'd have thought. I also think people will still want a copy of it in their home, even if it's just a file on a hard drive as opposed to a tangible product, compared to having even unfettered access to it in the cloud somewhere. As an example we have full Spotify, Last fm and Napster accounts, but we still have 900+ albums on the music server and I'd be upset if we lost it.
  16. Like Jah I'm walking to Forest Hill rather then getting a cheeky bus and it's doing me good... There's a childish pleasure in walking in the road, I almost want to kick a ball about using the lines of the grids for goals. It must be great for the people on the stretch of London Road in Forest Hill who normally have a very major road on their doorstep. If I was them I'd have a street party - they'll never get another chance..
  17. I thought this thread was going to be about clowns.

  19. What about Shriekback?
  20. Why should they?

City looked like total strangers in the first half, massive improvement in the second though, after they've had a bit of time together we could be looking good. And Joe Hart did OK....
  22. What is the plural of query?
  23. I still have no idea what the problem is from the OP.
