  1. Don't Come Around Here No More - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
  2. Personally I watch that and feel a bit disturbed and a bit sad. I could give it the big one and say I'd have intervened but if I'm honest I probably wouldn't, I'd have been a bit scared. Something clearly kicked the guy off (someone saying slag in his face according to what he says) but the guys filming it and laughing at someone clearly a bit screwed up.. not great. This behaviour may be unfair on others - "unfair on commuters" - but at a guess the person losing the plot would rather it wasn't happening too, he didn't look happy to me anyway.
  3. Nice re Luca. Australian Masterchef - now that was good. Fixed but good. Pretty much devoid of catchphrases though, sorry.
  4. "The man they love to hate..." I saw Marc 'Rollerball' Rocco the other day.
  5. Heads Will Roll - Echo and the Bunnyment
  6. The Catchphrase catchphrase.... it's good but it's not right.
  7. I find myself watching Grosse Point Blank again, it's probably second on the list of most watched films now although it's still a long way behind Aliens. "We Care A Lot" by Faith No More just came on.
  8. I'm gonna whinge a bit, probably. Shafties can't wheelie because of the torque reaction by the way.
  9. A Rock and a Hard Place - The Sisters Of Mercy
  10. And you managed not to mention the new Wankdorf stadium Jah, excellent. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=337901&cc=5739
  11. I can't believe anyone actually gives a toss to the extent of this thread. I'd always thought the Waitrose thing was a forum standing in joke.. By the way, shafties can't wheelie.

The video shop's only what 50 yards away from I guess - I just looked at google streetview and the shop next to the video shop's empty - what's in there now as I can't remember? There's a whole thread on what ED needs on here and that's a decent sized shop with I'm sure a decent size rent - it'll be interesting to see how the real world fills this one, as well as the stationers and the one next to the Co-op. My vote is for a car dealer, plenty of pavement there eh? ;-)
  13. This might have been mentioned earlier James when the water main replacement waterworks were in a different part of Lordship Lane, but do the council have any influence over issuing permits to place traffic lights at roadworks? At present at the Court Lane junction there's traffic lights on Lordship Lane as the works are narrowing the road. Thing is, given just a little more care from the contractors, there's room there for two way traffic with the bus lane going south and the other lane north if the barriers were level with the islands instead of sticking out into the road.
  14. You'll appear in the Daily Mail and possibly a hard hitting investigation presented by Trevor McDonald.
  15. Not sure where the gloating comes in?
  16. Just rats with a bushy tail really aren't they? Do they serve rat?
  17. There's signs on the bus asking people not to eat aren't there?
  18. I like Liverpool, I want to see them do well, I like Hodgson etc etc. But contenders? Who knows... Hodgson will get them organised and maybe even over-achieving but I don't see that as contenders. They should get a UEFA spot as Spurs will, I think, struggle with the demands of the Champions League assuming they qualify, but it will take Woy a year or two to get 'his' team in place, just like Mancini took till now to build his own squad. That (City) squad may not achieve but but'll be his, same scenario with Roy, just a year ahead of Liverpool.
  19. Liverpool won 2-0, Ngog scored two. Frame this post.

Lol, I thought you were serious for a second there. Nice one (tu)
  21. Baldrick innit.
