You're right, it's not post feminism. It's an insult, and the poster was insulting the females who took the light bulbs by using the word. If they'd been male he may have chosen the word 'bas7ard' or similar. Don't get het up by over analysing it.
  2. Best for me for Paddington for Heathrow Express is London Bridge to Baker Street on Jubilee then very short interchange to Bakerloo for Paddington. As you say we've done all variations of these to death (!) but that's what I used to do when I was spending time working in Reading. For Gatwick and for that matter in general for transport matters ED'ers would often do well to think of using Forest Hill.
  3. Rio out according to Sky. Michael Dawson in. Oh dear.
  4. To paraphrase the idiot that is Garry Cook I think if you look at the 'trajectory of recent results' next season Liverpool would have failed to qualify for Europe, won nothing whatsoever, and been out of both domestic cups at the earliest opportunity. Any big players who did stay this summer would then be off like a shot. Spurs, Man City, Villa itching to take their place and Liverpool have become a mid table UEFA challenger. Last three years' League position = 4-2-7 FA Cup round reached 5-4-3 League Cup round Q-4-4 Champs League RU-SF-QF-Group Chanmpions League being the most clear indication of which way things are going. No board can sit and see that and not take action.
  5. You might want to check mine as I think it's more than one stop but they principle is right. Also consider places East London line has interchanges with the Jubilee?
  6. Can you get off the Stanstead train at Stratford? One stop on the London Overground to Dalston Junction then to Forest Hill on the East London Line.
  7. Or go for Hodgson.
  8. Tenner says they end up in Forest Hill.
  9. Why? You a United fan or something?
  10. And takes 6 million with him, unbelievable.
  11. Rafa net spend on his squad while he's been there is beaten only by iirc City and Chelsea. He may well be a good coach but there's more to a manager than that. Keane is one example, Aquilani for the amount of money is a flop yes. Just look at Liverpool's current squad, for a net spend of around ?110m. He essentially only won things with players he inherited, since then, when it's been his team, nothing. I like Liverpool, I think English footie is better with a good Liverpool, and I think Rafa moving on is good news for all concerned. No. Position Player 1 GK Diego Cavalieri 2 DF Glen Johnson 4 MF Alberto Aquilani 5 DF Daniel Agger 8 MF Steven Gerrard (captain) 9 FW Fernando Torres 10 FW Milan Jovanović 11 MF Albert Riera 14 MF Jonjo Shelvey 15 MF Yossi Benayoun 16 DF Sotirios Kyrgiakos 17 MF Maxi Rodr?guez 18 FW Dirk Kuyt 19 FW Ryan Babel 20 MF Javier Mascherano 21 MF Lucas 22 DF Emiliano Ins?a 23 DF Jamie Carragher (vice-captain) 24 FW David N'Gog 25 GK Pepe Reina No. Position Player 26 MF Jay Spearing 27 DF Philipp Degen 28 MF Damien Plessis 29 FW Kriszti?n N?meth 30 GK Charles Itandje 31 MF Nabil El Zhar 32 DF Stephen Darby 34 DF Martin Kelly 36 DF Steve Irwin 37 DF Martin ?krtel 39 FW Nathan Eccleston 40 DF Daniel Ayala 41 GK Martin Hansen 42 GK P?ter Gul?csi 43 GK Dean Bouzanis 45 MF Alex Kacaniklic 46 MF David Amoo 47 FW Daniel Pacheco 48 MF Gerardo Bruna 49 DF Jack Robinson 49 players in the squad, a competitive Premier League team should be able to come up with essentially two 11's that could give a decent game. Can you out of that lot?
  12. There are recommendations on here for a couple of repair places if you do a search.

I think if I'm describing someone so other people can recognise him then that's the sort of characteristic others would pick up on. And a 'back to the top'.

    pissed off

I'm not sure what chichi is actually saying? When they've offered something for sale or have said they're interested in buying something people haven't got back to them if I read that right? Not sure how that becomes 'people are tight'?

  20. I'd recommend looking out for road signs at all times. ;-)
  21. Well I wouldn't trust him with any money given who he's bought in the past either.

  25. Barry - fit enough apparently. Walcott not in the 22 - good decision. Just not good enough. Carrick in it - eh? Looked shot to me the other day. King in - hmm. SWP in - bit unsure about that, he seems to me to have forgotten how to take a man on about a year ago, I'd have put Adam Johnson in. Baines had his chances to impress and didn't take them I guess but Warnock seems a bit out of the blue,
