  1. Yes, lets got to the pub :)-D
  2. I'm annoyed that we are all on here on Friday night!!! Why aren't we all in the pub?(6)
  3. I saw the Fire Engine with breathing aparatus going whizzing past when I was on the bus going through Camberwell. Must be pretty serious...:(
  4. Villa 2 - 1 West Ham Man U 1 - 0 Wigan Arse 0 - 1 Sunderland Blackburn 0 - 1 Birmingham Bolton 1 - 1 Chelsea Fulham 1 - 2 Portsmouth Liverpool 1 - 0 Spurs Man City 3 - 1 Boro Newcastle 1 - 2 Everton Reading 3 - 1 Derby
  5. Vodka, Lime and Soda. Oh! is this not a bar? ;-)
  6. Blimey -how big is your bathroom?!
  7. Get worried when they are like this ::o Believe they can now be seen on the South bank. (Just outside the Tate) :))
  8. I wish I had a cool uncle to watch the footy with. My Dad's brother (as lovely as he is) supports Norwich and I really can't imagine sitting in the pub with him, as I'd imagine it would be quite dull. My Scouse Uncle Tommy, however is very cool B), but he HATES football. He used to me as a kid that I'd grow out of it. :(
  9. Got everyone talking though, didn't it ;-)
  10. Thanks for the offer giggirl, don't fancy such a large venue though. Had tickets to see Mr Ashcroft at the Electric Ballroom, but ended up going on holiday and had to sell them to a friend. He took great delight in telling me what a good gig it was topped off by the fact that he spent most of the night stood next to the Gallaghers. (6)
  11. (6) Not impressed at all (6). I get the impression that as we had an "okay" start to the season we've become a little blase and hopefully this will give us the kick up the arse we need. Bring on Spurs on Sunday. Would have been nice to meet you Keef and Jah (and your neice), however I'm a terrible loser so it's probably a good job I stayed in. Hope you had a nice evening otherwise :))
  12. Excellent - thanks for arranging this :)) TT Landlord - assume you mean Timothy Taylor? In my bar person days, that sold out pretty much instantly
  13. Oh Keef - If only I'd known that earlier.
  14. Owwwwh!! Are you all going to be in the pub?!?!
  15. Did you read his comments on the website? Lord Frodsham >:D<
  16. It will be on in my front room too! :)) Failing that, the Magdala usually have both games on. (The game on Sunday isn't televised Jah - gutted)
  17. One of mine and my housemate's friends in Sweden often checks what is going on in ED :))
  18. Re: Red Arrows new Posted by: Jah Lush Today, 02:01PM Michael Palaeologus Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Clearly we have to have English Morris dancing. I'm gonna side with Oscar Wilde on this one, who once said:- "One should try everything once except Morris dancing and incest." ===================================================== Blimey - I lived in Norfolk for a while and knew people that did both!!
  19. Ian Wright, Wright, Wright!! Anyone remember that one too? (Always makes me chuckle) I must be honest, I watch very little TV so can't say I've noticed. Nothing like overkill though ;-)
  20. Can you delete posts?
  21. Oohhh errr - I really didn't mean to be controversial. I love seeing the red arrows, their talent is amazing and its a real spectacle. Just thought it was a shame :'( :-$
  22. What the post or the subject? :-$
  23. "Reina is good" - Slight understatment, me thinks - Pepe is amazing!! We have not conceded a single goal from open play with him between the posts this season. He also saved one of the four pens that fired at him. Unfortunately Carson would get splinters in his backside if he came back to Anfield. Same happended to Dudek and he lost his form. Will always be remembered for the "Grobelar" wobbly legs in Instanbul (ooh and the saves he made ;-))
  24. Apparently,The world-famous Red Arrows have been banned from appearing at the 2012 London Olympics because they are deemed "too British". Organisers of the event say that the Arrows military background might be "offensive" to other countries taking part in the Games. The display team have performed at more than 4000 events worldwide, but the Department of Culture, Media and Sport have deemed the display team "too militaristically British". Red Arrows pilots were said to be "outraged", as they had hoped to put on a truly world class display for the Games, something which had never been seen before. Being axed from a British-based event for being "too British" is an insult - the Arrows are a symbol of Britain. The Red Arrows have been excellent ambassadors for British overseas trade, as they display their British-built Hawk aircraft all over the world. The Arrows performed a short flypast in 2005 when the winning bid was announced, but their flypast at the Games was to have been truly spectacular. It is to be hoped that common sense prevails. If you disagree with this decision, sign the petition on the link below... http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/RedArrows2012/?ref=redArrows2012 Admittedly, I have just been sent the above in an E-mail, but I personlly think it is such a shame. Thought I'd share this with you all.
