I saw Hard-Fi too. Admittedly he can't sing all that well (whoever produced that album, did a very good job) but the atmosphere was brilliant and I was fairly hammered by the time we got in to the academy, so I enjoyed it all the same.

Squeeze is the 5th December - for a minute there I'd totally lost the plot. I'd not put the dates in my diary and then I couldn't find the order confirmation. Thought I'd imagined it all - really need to dye my hair blonde to match brain! Best venue in Hammersmith was the Palais - went to one of the last gigs there. The Good the Bad and the Queen - a very bizarre night.

Not long to go now.... Wonder if they still heat the balls :-S

I like the Forum and also Koko. Brixton is very convenient for us East Dulwichites! Must agree - not that keen on the apollo, however I had no choice as I really wanted to see them. It gets worse though! I'm taking my Mum :(, however its only fair as I only got in to Squeeze as my folks always used to listen to their stuff. Have one spare ticket at the moment.

There's a Whisk(e)y bar called Albannach in Trafalgar Square - I worked there for a while when I first moved back to London. Their list is quite extensive and some of the prices were quite simply shocking. Learnt a bit about whisky though! Whisky list - ooh just learnt how to use the link thingy ::o

Hi Keef - yep saw the game. Hypia's broken nose didn't look pleasant, lots of claret. Can't remember what happened to Carra', think it was a knee in the ribs. At first it looked like he wasn't going to come off - can't believe he stayed on as long as he did. Not wanting to get complacent, but at least we go in tomorrow nights game with an away goal and being at home to Derby on Saturday should mean we won't miss Carra and Stevie too much. I hope I've not jinxxed us now.... Mind you, no locals boys playing is not so good! Assume you'll be watching the game tomorrow? Was supposed to go, but could only get one ticket and didn't fancy driving home on my own. Quite glad I've got Voronin in my FFL team >:D<
