Blimey - I pop to the pub for a couple of hours and when I come back, look what has happened to the forum! ::o Funny reading though - never heard of seagulling before (for which I am quite relieved!) -
I think that when people are new in an establishment is does take a while to gel. To be honest I've avoided the Clockhouse on the basis of what I've read here. May have to go back for a visit >:D

To be honest I didn't watch much of the game. I saw that they were 2-1 down and then didn't bother with the rest and therefore couldn't comment on Lampard's performance. I just know that if every time you get the ball within 20-30 yards of the goal and take a shot (rather than pass) you are going to get a goal every now and then ;-)

Simon M - are you a blue by any chance? ;-) I suppose it saves us a rant from Moaninho about ref's decisions always going against them. Styles should have gone to spec savers and as for Essien's two yellow cards.... :-S Oh well, t'is a marathon not a sprint!
