  1. Also did the same as broadbean, singalto and pugwash... Took in a street cat and had to get them used to two other resident cats and (and kids). Slowly slowly and plenty of hidey holes worked. HP
  2. Thats good news. And great name btw! HP
  3. HI Admin - know you've been busy but any reply?
  4. Hi Alice - No - other posts from OP still there. Just this one thread and the OP didn't pull it.
  5. HI admin, Posting here as it doesn't look as though you've seen my pm to you. 'The post in the general section about the dog being abused has been pulled. Was this by you? If so, was this because someone mentioned a private address? If so can't the thread be reinstated minus that post? It was started by someone trying to help an animal that obviously needs help. Cheers HP'

Sorry deleting this and have sent a pm admin ... HP
  7. Lee. Another witness to your incident posted on nunhead rocks if you take a look. Also 5th Avenue above. Surely enough for rspca to go on. HP
  8. Sounds terrible. Have shared to nunhead rocks Facebook group. ETA: Someone else has posted on there to say they saw this too ... HP Useful info here from the RPSCA including taking photos etc as useful for evidence: https://www.rspca.org.uk/utilities/contactus/reportcruelty/crueltychecklist
  9. Hi. I managed to add comments yesterday - 1st September (just). Didn't say anything about extended deadline but if you're thinking of commenting worth trying. HP

  11. God - the consultation draft doc on that link is 99 pages long - admittedly much of it appendices. Doing the survey though after a skim read.

  13. Keep meaning to try and go for an early swim at the Lido. Does anyone know how it works? I'm assuming there are lots of lane swimmers plugging up and down. How would someone who does a few lengths ... slowly with breaks ... be received? HP
  14. Aw - just posting to say thank you all for caring/updates on the cat. Glad to hear it's OK. HP

Hi - also willing to help with this Tracy/DF if I can be of any use? Does look like he needs checking out by a vet poor thing! If needs re homing Celia Hammond better than RSPCA! HP
  16. PS - could you post a piccie? H
  17. So I know there are issues with rats but am I alone in liking them?? HP
  18. Sounds like the cat might need a bit of help. Can you take it to the vet on lordship lane to check for a chip? They?ll check it for free. HP
  19. That?s brilliant news- so pleased for you! Thanks for taking the time to update here. HP

If your daughter has an instinct on which one of the two maybe let her follow it. Like secondaries of course you never really know until they start ...

  22. Maiden castle well known but always fabulous for a walk esp early morning/evening (also great for a run). If you?re feeling adventurous there?s a barrow in a nearby field... The blue pool near wareham Preston beach east of Weymouth for a swim away from the Weymouth crowds or swim off the Nothe?
