A good time to remind everyone what the Vote Leave campaign promised back in 2016, namely that EU citizens would be automatically granted indefinite leave to remain. This promise was signed by both Johnson and Patel. Having to apply for ''settled status'' isn't automatic, and many who have already applied have only been given ''pre-settled status'', meaning they have to re-apply when they can prove five years of residence in the UK...

Yep, it's worse if you need a new supply, then you really get to see the ''That's not my in my remit Guv'' culture...

It took a while so don't be put off if it appears slow or progress has stopped. I didn't like the new start set-up so dowmloaded an app to make it look more like Windows 7...
