  1. LOBSTER gloves! Seen it all now...what a clever idea (flipper mittens weren't too far off LOL).
  2. I've tried walking socks for cycling, but they are too thick and feet end up getting squashed. (I suppose you are going to tell me to get bigger trainers LOL!).
  3. Flipper style mittens! LOL! *chuckling* BTW: me too, toes first.
  4. Lady Katharina, I second Decathlon: absolutely brilliant on price and choice. I find the staff exceptionally knowledgeable/helpful.

  6. I thought there was one at Vauxhall - no?
  7. Yay! Work has officially started on what is going to be London's biggest bike docking station. Add that to the existing cycle-parking facilities at Waterloo, this has to be good news for cyclists IMO.

I think the kids can read "SUCKERS LIVE HERE" on our door! We have been ahem...bombarded with the little...ahem...cutie-pies... ...and have got through 10 apples, ?7, a small squash and...erm...a chilli! Just for a giggle I answered "trick" to one of my cutsy neighbour's kids whereupon he threw a large non-scary plastic spider at me. Being a tactless sort, I laughed in his beautifully made up face and told him that I wasn't at all frightened...oh dear, his little face...I felt so guilty that I gave him an apple, some coins, a squash and...yes...that chilli LOL! Bless him, I love him really. Such fun!

You basically bank the hundredth post (or multiple thereof) by posting it - see here for a bit of insight into the game.
  12. I really do think you should get something else for that cough...sambuca is clearly not working LOL...though it's very good at numbing the tongue...
  13. DJKillaQueen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Unhinged, or drunk......I can't work out which > half the time. Is that because you are in fact...erm...unhinged or, dare I say it, drunk, half of the time? Don't mind if I steal your joke your Maj...can't help it coz me is a bit unhinged meself innit.

  17. Not as lucky as 3! Which is where man U are at present!!!! The photographer? Ah tres bon! Je m'en r'appelle maintenant. Trop de Sambuca hier soir...mais que c'est delicieux...ah oui! Aujourdhui...seulement de leau... Comment va ta tete? Et ta jambe?
  18. Thank you, offical cake photographer! Though I would have preferred red and white of course! That icing - notwithstanding being the colours of a team currently positioned seventh (*snigger*) in the premier league tables - was absolutely delicious. Yum!
  19. ooooh fame at last LOL! Queenie: could we have a pic of dita's Everton cup cakes now please? Note: Dita could I have Manchester United cup cakes for my birthday please? And possibly some Dulwich Hamlets ones too LOL?!
  20. Try Dita's mushroom sauce above. PS: in your dressing gown? WOTTA SLOB LOL!:))
  21. Dita, I think you'll make someone a lovely wife.

Fair enough...it was my first attempt...and I wanted to make the recipe my own for a special occasion...but I shall skip the cherry choc next time around and see how that compares. > Lady M, you need to get yourself a Tala Dry > Measuring Cup. It does, but the markings are in "quarters" (so cannot gauge e.g. one ounce). I probably need some new scales - I've had these about 33 years. Hmmm, you've given me food for thought.
  23. Ah but the fruit was incidental...these were SPECIAL brownies... The fruit came from a bar of expensive GREEN AND BLACKS BEST ORGANIC DARK CHOCOLATE WITH CHERRIES! No less! BTW, did anyone notice the...ahem...spoonful of BRANDY LOL?!!
