  2. Love them or hate them? And who are they? Personally, they make me laugh - provided I am not the target of their pedantry of course! Edited (in response to a later post by that adorable pedant Narnia) to say that, actually, I generally don't mind being the butt of a pedant's observations, provided they are made in jest - and they usually are.

  10. PS: hang on in there Esteemed Chair!
  11. OK, OK! I stand corrected...am not 100% up-to-date on this highly (dare I say)...ahem...cardinal matter. So, dear Homer is not a Catholic. Any advance on Jewish?
  12. Mick Mac Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There must be a pedant out there itching to > respond to that Keef. Not me though. He of "Benny Hat" fame and the brain the size of Jupiter will probably be along soon. Can't wait he he... *taps fingers and awaits with impatience*
  13. It's a possibility. Or, whilst not missing the relevant episodes, he simply didn't know what it was? Assumed it was merely another ornament perhaps? :))
  14. I should add that I fully understand him now - and that wonderful sense of humour (love him to bits in fact!).
  15. You are correct Mick Mac. But at least we know that Homer Simpson is a Catholic. One less thing to worry about. @ Our Esteemed Chair: I have been chided in the past for quoting Homer Simpson in the Drawing Room. However, this latest news comes from the Vatican's own daily broadsheet. Under the circumstances, I trust you will allow this post to stand. Forever your obedient(ish) servant.;-)

    a joke

Man goes to barbers with his little girl to get his hair cut. Whilst he is receiving his hair cut, his little girl sits close by eating a cake. The barber smiles at the little girl and says: "you are going to get hair on your muffin". The little girl replies: "yes, and I am going to get tits too - you dirty old bastard". Courtesy of my best friend
  17. Ah, I remember that thread well. Very funny it was too! Poor old Mick Mac - we were merciless and unrelenting in our piss-taking. If I recall correctly, did he not receive a tip off? In which case, were it not for that tip off, he'd probably as yet be none the wiser and we would (in all probability) still be laughing at his expense today. As I said, poor old Mick Mac LOL. I'll never forget the first time I met him. I took to him immediately. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand a word he said! His lips moved, and various sounds were emitted...but... (*giggles mischievously*)
  18. ...that's the one...or Mucky Team even... LOL! And Ms. Muck hasn't forgotten that the Leader of the Team Keef Posse is owed a pint. Do feel free to remind me - lest I should conveniently forget on the night;-)
  19. Yes, should be bloomin' marvellous. I hope to be along too with the rest of the posse. And I'm looking forward to contributing to your state of "plasteredness" Georgia! Might well get "plastered" myself, for a change! Well done Sean for organising (notwithstanding that I stubbornly refuse to accept that it shall be the last). *buffs trainers*
  20. Yay Ratty!...happy birthday... ...from up the road xx
  21. 200 (still no sign of Mr. Quids - this is no fun :()

Keef Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Mick Mack & Lady Muck are relative newcomers > compared to the lkes of me, Sean, Brendan, Jah, > Moos, *bob*, Mockney, and a little bit later, > Quids. Their figures are impressive. To be honest, "Impressive" isn't quite the terminology I would have employed here. LOL! Am inclined to think that Moos' use of the adjective "horrified" is more fitting. It's made me laugh, for sure, though.
  23. PS: Mark, I just want to say that I think you are fabulous. You are a busy person but, somehow, you manage to make time to humour the likes of me! Thank you x
  24. Oh my word! Didn't think you'd oblige! How funny! Can't believe I'm in there though (with the forum's pet dog too! LOL). Definitely need some tuition in self-restraint from JamesG. Mega-thanks Mark. Illuminating stuff. *giggling like mad now*
  25. Don't suppose you have the "Top 20" Mark? Please?
