  1. The plans are for 4, 3-bed houses. Planning Application Reference is 19/AP/7582
  2. Four guys playing tennis on the Alleyns courts this morning. All middle-aged men that didn't look like they lived together. Sheer arrogance.
  3. I'm kind of surprised that there isn't already a thread about this however I was sent this link for a raffle to raise funds to support East Dulwich businesses. I know nothing about it other than what it says on the home page but there are a lot (over 180) of prizes donated by local businesses including (randomly selected) - A 2-hour family photoshoot with Olivia Rawes Photography - A butcher's selection box from William Rose - Ice cream for 4 plus a tub of gelato to take home from Fabulous Ice Fires - A framed A3 print of Lordship Lane from Jessica Kendrew - A week's worth of fresh bread and coffee from Blackbird Bakery - Cocktail night for 2 at House of Tippler Tickets are ?1. Raffle ends at 1pm on Sunday. https://raffall.com/14439/enter-raffle-to-win-saveeastdulwich-hosted-by-victoria-rennison
  4. Not now Bob, really not now.
  5. While this is admirable - I find it hard to believe that the club is still open. Regardless of the official stance on "Social Distancing", you should close the club ASAP to reduce the risk of members infecting each other.

  7. Also noticed one on Melbourne Grove near junction with ED Grove today.
  8. You're paying over the odds. Go to Money Saving Expert, MoneySupermarket, Confused.com, ComparetheMarket. You'll find better cover for a lot less.
  9. Maybe one of these ? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B008LIP8G4/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_07EoEbD9152R3
  10. TfL are consulting on changes to Peckham High Street to make it safer. There was a fatal accident near the Burger King a few weeks ago and another today further along at the junction with Kelly Avenue. You can have your say here, consultation closes on 12th March. https://consultations.tfl.gov.uk/roads/peckham-town-centre/
  11. I suspect that Townley will be a nightmare at picking up/dropping off time. Cars will enter from LL or via Dovercourt/Beauval then as they cannot exit onto EDG, u-turn and go back the way they came. Of course the road is already blocked with coaches at this time and so cue gridlock and road-rage as owners of huge SUV's attempt 17 point turns...
  12. Can I have a exclusive gated community permeable barrier please ?
  13. Windows 10 has been out a couple of years now and hence Microsoft recommends that you don?t try to upgrade as the computer you?re trying to upgrade is likely to be 3 plus years old and in these days of technological obsolescence it?s time it was replaced. However there are plenty of computers 7+ years old that will run win 10 happily an so upgrades are possible. The official cost of Win 10 is at least ?50, depending on the version you buy and the media it?s supplied on. Depending on the computer there?s no guarantee that the hardware will still be compatible with Win 10, one of the other reasons MS recommend you buy a new machine. There are links to articles that say that you can still upgrade for free. This could be worth a go as it would save you the cash, which if the upgrade failed would have been a waste. Whatever you do make sure anything important is backed up before starting any upgrade. https://www.zdnet.com/article/heres-how-you-can-still-get-a-free-windows-10-upgrade/
  14. Google Photos is a one-way sync, i.e. if you sync your phone photo's with Google Photo's then delete them from your phone it won't delete them from the cloud. You can still view them using the Google Photo's app. However once you've downloaded them to your laptop them it doesn't matter whether they are deleted from the cloud or not if your sole objective was to move them to your laptop.
  15. I'd do via Google Photos, storage (up to a fairly high resolution) is unlimited 1. Create a gmail account if you don't already have one 2. Download the Google photos app to your phone 3. Let the app sync the photos on your phone to the cloud 4. Login to your google account on your laptop and select the pictures you want to download Note when you download multiple pictures they are combined into a zip file that you'll need to unzip.
  16. There's a plaque I think, attached the railings that marks the event and names those that were killed.
  17. Or catch a 37 to Herne Hill. Direct trains from there.
  18. Can you login to iCloud to see the phones location ?
  19. You could try the cafe/shop in East Dulwich Grove call a Piece of Cake. Their website is a bit basic but it looks like they make Birthday Cakes and although there are no prices, there are for other cakes e.g. Red Velvet = ?35.
  20. Alternatively Google FixMyStreet -they send a report to Southwark.
  21. Not Sweaty Betty but Really !! /forum/read.php?5,2080981 and /forum/read.php?29,2070631,2073475#msg-2073475 Perhaps I need to combine the two and offer an ethical buggy cleaning service.
  22. If you're that bothered then maybe clean it yourself ?
  23. Not any more :)
  24. Went to Morrisons in Peckham this morning. They have sizeable Christmas trees for ?15.
  25. I can't recommend an installer I'm afraid -the two I tried using (both recommended on this forum) were poor. However for a supplier I would recommend Bromley and Ellis on Brixton Water Lane. Steve there runs the show and he's very approachable and knowledgeable.
