Dulwich is no different to anywhere else in london I am in Pinner , Middlesex at the moment we had 2 massive fights in december in the high st a stabbing in a block of flats (drug related) a stabbing in the high st ( one brother stabbing another while high on drugs ) 2 of my currewnt customers are wearing the ankle rolex's at the moment ( both nicked for fighting in streets) 1 old lady mugged and left to die on a street in broad daylight all this plus im sure more in what is supposed to be a rather upmarket area. Im actually moving back south and thinking its safer than here

maybe will have to have a jandal / thong / flip flop party , Stubbies for the lads of course if you are not sure what stubbies are , there is an ad on youtube for them. but 3/4 long shorts / short pants are not a good look on anyone.

shorts are fine when wearing jandals , but to wear 3/4 lenghts with shoes of any description is so so wrong. I have some very sad looking fashionless victims in the pub garden today. There is, on a good note , a group of young ladies from the language school up the road who have thought nothing of stripping to their bikini top / bra to get a bit of sun. just about made me choke on my cucumber sandwiches!!! Im gonna miss this pub garden.

kick-offs are perfect timing for the pubs. should be an interesting tour

my thoughts only on what makes a pub sucessful (hopefully) good range of beers , wines and spirits good range of alcohol free drinks ( hot and cold) some food option ( different offers for different pubs) good sports coverage ( I only run sports pubs so have no real alternative to this ) But the main thing that will get customers coming back is GOOD STAFF ! yes I shouted that bit out , you can get all the products right but useless , inept, grumpy , bored , barstaff will lose more customers than lack of food or entertaiment. anyway , thats just my personal opinion. cheers to the beers all hail to the ale and a fruit based cocktail for the ladies (quote : Al Murray, the pub landlord, circa 2004 ) 13 days to go , till the BigPhil Pub Roadshow arrives in SE15

As people have previously said , why would an interviewer want to know what you are on in your old job? , they get that info from your P45 , and they should have a plan of what they are going to offer you regards of your previous salary is legal work really that bad?

Its a shame if another small leasehold pub has gone. unfortunatly thats happening all over I have been doing relief management for the last year and sometimes am getting 4 -5 offers per week. ( am in my last one now before taking the Prince Albert permanantly) I am with lenk when it comes to Witherspoons. cant stand them and consider them to be the bully boys of the pub trade. many a small pub has closed because they cant compete with witherspoons xtra low pricing. I personally try to drink in only non chain pubs or private leaseholds. ( not sure if it helps the trade but keeps me happy)

Council House Adult Vacant the term chav accuratly descibes the way some people live , it actually doesnt tell you anything about the people or the way they behave or dress. so why do some people not like the use of the word?
