  6. Well, at a guess, I'd say that the people whose kids are at Heber will say Heber is better and the people whose kids are at Goodrich will say Goodrich is better. I think they are pretty much of a muchness. Very close to each other, similar size, similar demographic. Don't know what the parity is regarding 'results' but they can be found on the web I'm sure. I'd put the closest one first personally.

  10. Er excuse me Shu, what's with the exclusivity? Is it a private members' club of which you speak, 'cos if not what's the problem with letting a few other people know about it. Or is that if we don't know then we just don't deserve to know? Bollocks to that.

  13. gawd, listen to you lot: lunch here, dinner there. I'm lucky if I can get out to pizza express twice a year.
  14. does it not go on to say in the Wiki article about the Kitty case that in fact it was completely misrepresented by the press and in there were not as many bystanders as reported, the police were called and most of the witnesses that heard the murder couldn't see it. Further, that the case is still misrepresented in psychology books as an example to students. Therefore not worth referencing.
  15. Um, sorry to drag it back to the question of separatism etc, but. Saturday is a good idea as then those with kids can do the afternoon, those without (or a babysitter) can do evening and some hardcore people can do both. Why does it have to be a Friday night? Personally I would prefer all the drinks to be on a Saturday night rather than a Friday but I'm not going to suggest they are changed as I only show up to the odd one anyway. I don't think it's so exceptionally bad to have 3/4 months of drinks on a Saturday night is it?
  16. why so separatist? I think it goes against the spirit to start having splinter groups.
  17. No, but what about the Full Circle all-dayers out in East Grinstead and Sunrise?

The only reason they won a seat there > was because the other parties' votes collapsed > even more. That's what was being said on R4 this morning, only a 1% increase in the BNP vote overall or summat.
