I hope that was a 'copy and paste' job *Bob* or else business must be slow.... No objection to another bank holiday (although as a self-employed person they make no diff to me) but I wonder how many people in England could name the date off the top of their heads or who know anything about him other than he slayed a dragon (allegedly).

Oooh, gosh, I just read his post re. the cafe. I take it all back.

well, I think he started off okay, an opinion was voiced, but then had a sense of humour bypass and doesn't know how to get back on track. Lots of regular posters have started off that way and it all comes good in the end, so take a chill pill beardy and get back in the swing of it.

I drank a lot of Jack Daniels and coke for a time in my teens and was sick several times, can't even bear the smell now. Moved onto tequila and orange and have stuck with that one ever since.

mr Asset cooking the lentils in the water I just boiled the beetroot in (without having washed it) meaning the lentils are full of soil grit and have to be thrown away, delaying dinner by gawd knows how long, when I'm EFFING HUNGRY.

You could put a sign up on the bell saying 'no callers before 10am' (or whenever). Probably be ignored but worth a try.
