  1. I suppose my moderation could be another's excess!!
  2. I reckon some alchys would most definitely mug an old lady to buy some more booze and I bet it happens too. Klaus - you assert that cannabis and ecstacy are ok and that coke is horrible, that is a personal opinion yes? Excessive use of anything is unattractive in its users usually. You cannot use the argument of the way cocaine is grown and distributed for it being an ugly drug as the same goes for hashish, there is a lot of crime around this drug too. Moderation in all things is my motto!
  3. Anytime you want to join in and up the standards JC, feel free. 6. I loved my Bugaboo (several years ago now, started the fashion I'll admit it) and sold it for 75% of purchase price 3 years later. It was also used as a travel cot several times in the first 6 months. They are great and much more compact and manoueverable then the old Silver Cross that was popular in the 50s. p.s family clubbed together to buy it as a present before I get lambasted for having more money than sense.

  11. If they are making comments about either your race or sexuality you could call the police, maybe you can also do that for sexist and abusive comments. I was under the impression (may be an urban myth) that it is now illegal for building site workers to wolf whistle at women from scaffolding etc. I'm not sure the swearing at them would do any good, probably just egg them on, if you feel that you are being targeted unfairly and it is distressing for you, why don't you try the police and make an offical complaint.
  12. which someone could have for their tea
  13. Kennington has no centre, it is fairly souless. I lived there for years before ED. Great for town though.

  16. Hey Alan, no I don't think I did (you can breathe easy *Bob*). My comment was because it could have been a whole host of reasons the person topped themselves. As it turns out it was a fairly cut and dried reason (no pun intended) and perhaps I was presumptious. I don't recall *Bob* saying the person committed Hari Kiri (stabbing oneself in the stomach) though Alan!

Why is that the case though? I know a couple of people who have tried it and neither of them have gone on to become mental crack addicts.

  24. I will go back to Ganapati, I'm not sure what I was expecting really. The food was nice but not amazing (portions quite small too, greedy me). Difficult to live up to Mr. Asset's spicy slop I suppose!

I would argue that cocaine is not highly physically addicitve, psycholigically addicitve yes. Does it cause a physical withdrawal when use is stopped? Heroin, alcohol and nicotine do.
