My ex is Colombian, she had a Masters degree in maths ( distinction ), she left a high ranking job in Colombia to travel & see the world, yet, due to a combination of cr*p visa laws & unfair xenophobia, had to work in a well known chain of stores as a manager for under ?10k per year, she actually had 2 jobs, she cleaned at the LSE ( illegally & was paid peanuts for it. ) Compare this to my English pal who earned more cash than her ( she worked in a similar shop ) & was as lazy as fk. As for 'them' taking our jobs, I challenge u to spend a month cleaning toilets for peanuts. Ps: at least my ex learnt how to use punctuation.
  3. Hi everyone, Just wanted to thank the awesome woman who woke me up from a drunken slumber on the night bus, last week & told me that it was my stop - no idea how you knew that but i'm glad that you accepted my high 5 anyway!! :)-D
  4. I thought this was a thread about me, I was wondering how you had figured out my nickname... ;-)

  6. thebeard, you really need to extract that copy of the Daily Mail out of your a***.. I can't believe that your trying to justify angry Nigel's behaviour by blaming it on the rotten infrastructure etc etc, the guy would be a d*ck no matter how good the system was, he is a bully, end of story, you've obviously never dealt with him. I've dealt with many pleasant drivers, including the awesome speedy, safe-driving lady on the 185 today. Also, those sweeping offensive generalizations regarding their brain size goes to show just how intelligent you are. ( having a beard doesn't make you more intelligent.) ( Btw- I'm not a bus driver, related to one or affiliated with tfl in any way, shape or form )

In conclusion, there was obviously no point in going to the moon

  11. What a shameless plug for your show, woof, i saw you there playing the piano, I was impressed that Carrie could bounce around in those heels tho
  12. jumpinjackflash Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I told everyone at work and they all think I must > have been pi55ed - which I wasn't! > > I cannot have been the only one that saw it! Exactly the same thing happened to me, i was coming out of a club & walked over Waterloo bridge when I saw a huge orange ball over the Thames, i told my work buddies but they dimissed it & called me a drunk
  13. Hi there Kells, i've seen japanese squire strats (cheaper official copies) sell for about ?200ish on ebay so i reckon you may get alot more for it, it really depends on the condition of it, japanese strats are pretty good guitars. also, i read on a forum somewhere that andys ( no relation) on denmark st is really dodgy, so don't sell your guitar there- i think he sells guitars & basically doesnt hand the ?? over afterwards. Last piece of advice- dont sell it & buy a good tuition book!
  14. Holy sh*tballs, the world's ending in 2012 & I've gone & signed up to a 5 yr gym membership..if i show them this thread, do you reckon they'd let me cancel??
  15. matthew123 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Blinking eck!! What is worse being famous or > looking like someone famous!! Having a Doppelg?nger.. I had one while I was at uni, it was terrible, friends would go on abt how rude i was because i ignored them when i passed them in the streets etc. It happened many times & sadly i never got to meet him, we could have ruled the world together :(

I was nr the front of the queue, she was alot further away, with lots of ppl between us- doesnt really make sense go all the way to the back of the queue to let her queue jump, esp for rude ppl i actually make a point of stepping back when theres space & letting ppl on the bus/ train/ tube before me, even the really slow &*!$ers at Denmark hill who put one foot on the train & pause for ages ( even when there's no-one in front of them if you did this recently at Denmark hill at abt 8am, I was the one who said 'Douchebag' quite loudly) I also open doors for ppl etc etc Btw, she is not a lady!

  21. Hi folks.. I bumped into extremely rude mother again today. I was waiting for the 185 at victoria at abt 18:00, I was listening to my ipod & my eyes wandered, suddenly, our eyes locked. I didn't recognise her at first, but then the full horror of the situation dawned on me as i recognised her. I turned away & prayed that the bus would come. After an eternity, it arrived. i was actually in front of her & somehow, she managed to push her way ( using her pushchair ) past me onto the bus & even took out a poor guys ankles, then made him carry the pushchair onto the bus. I hid upstairs & even got off on the stop after the plough to avoid her. Has anyone else had the misfortune of dealing with her?
  22. My fave jacko story involves me telling a huge jacko fan from work who believed that jacko was innocent because he would never ever abuse kids, that that he should stick to sh*ggin chimps because they dont talk. I was just fed up with her going on and on and on abt his innocence, which was based on the fact that he could never do it because he loves children. she didnt speak to me for weeks- which was great.
