  1. Well we're clearly at opposite ends of the spectrum, or put another way, we'll agree to disagree
  2. Well that says it all really, communism is well and truly alive in ED then. Perhaps that's why he got thrown out of his own Party. on no they didn't.......................................... Try taking off the blinkers. Rockets has hit the nail bang on the head. Sense has been spoken.
  3. And a year in to labour being in office, it feels as though they are going hell for leather shafting the country every which way they can. Look, the Conservatives towards the end lost their way and made a right mess of things, I don;'t disagree about that, however the ship was beginning to turn. UK plc is currently like the Titanic, heading straight into an ice berg and we are about to sink when it hits it. In four year's time I dread to think what state this country will be in.
  4. You can try contacting TW using Twitter https://x.com/thameswater
  5. Perhaps they should put a sign on the door saying "This surgery is permanently closed"
  6. Lammy and Starmer saying come and continue to negotiate which is the sensible approach, forgetting to remember that Trump was going to attack another sovereign state and potentially begin WW 3, neither of which he has any right to do. The scary thing is Iran saying their reprisal with be "ever changing". Those are chilling words. Wouldn't surprise me if they take out the White House and Israeli PM in two strikes.
  7. Saw one the other day, left smack bang in the middle of a pavement. How is that even allowed to happen when a photo is needed to be submitted when it's left. They are a damn nuisance.
  8. The guy is a megalomaniac. mistake one, was the USA electing him for a second term mistake two was the bullet with his name on, missed. Must try harder. mistake three, Trump wearing that dumb red cap with "make America great again"
  9. What exactly was Donald "jackass Trump" thinking when he approved military action? Shame he doesn't think first, about the consequences of his actions.
  10. Now as an ex patient my impression was that their is a general lack of accountability or responsibility by the staff at FHRGP and heaven forbid you should disagree with them, "not allowed". They want total control with no scrutiny. How that practice survives, I really don't know. That being said, two or three of the staff are excellent.
  11. I've given an honest opinion based on my own personal experience their. The practice I'm with have done more in the last 6 months than FHRGP ever did over while I was with them (for an almighty long time) and in particular over the last 9yrs. That's a fact. And yes I will slate them, I'd slate certain staff members of staff by name but that's libellous.
  12. I have never seen one single cyclist use it, Full stop, end, comprendo.
  13. No its not on odd occasions, its whenever I go along there I see no cyclists and none also in the cycle lane. Pls don't attempt to twist words, its unbecoming to try and do so.
  14. FHRGP is probably one of the worst surgeries in SE London, if not the whole of London with their holier than thou approach to dealing with patients who they class as customers. Try to see a GP, practically if not totally impossible. They will use every excuse under the sun not to see a patient fobbing them of to other members of staff to deal with. How the surgery survives I have no idea. It's funny that they are currently trying to get new patients to sign up with so many having left and found a far better experience elsewhere.
  15. Earl Aelfheah can you answer the question?
  16. So why is the cycle lane even there then? And where are your figures to show how well used (not) the cycle lane is (not)
  17. It is true, I have NEVER, EVER SEEN ANYONE USE IT. FACT. So you're saying the bike lane was implemented as a traffic calming measure, right, sure. There are other methods of reducing speed rather than implementing an unused cycle lane. You seem to switch arguments as and when it suits you, how about sticking to the point. What an utterly dumb thing to say "So what do you actually want? Are you calling for re-elected councillors ‘and their supporters’ to be arrested, or fined? On what grounds exactly? What is the nature of this vengeance you’re after? "
