  1. Plane, yes it was a typo, thanks for pointing it out.
  2. You live in the Capital city of the UK, if you don't expect to see and hear planes, well quite frankly I'd suggest moving out of Greater London entirely.
  3. I doubt that is the cause for St. Francesca Cabrini considering closing. And James Barber is no longer a councillor.
  4. I'd have thought it was in Southwark as it is on that side of the road which is classed as Southwark, isn't it?
  5. See; https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/honor-oaks-st-francesca-cabrini-primary-school-could-close-after-nuns-announce-plans-to-move-to-africa/
  6. Perhaps keep it in relation to Brenchley Gardens rather than the wider debate. The last I'd heard the idea had been dropped. i) Does anyone know when it was resurrected; And ii) Are their more details about the proposals?
  7. Gove in full flow demonstrating what an elegant and great orator Michael is.
  8. So many tunes and so little time to squeeze them all in by closedown, but lets start with two more outstandingly stonking good "Going home for the weekend" tunes from 1973 and 1975 with; The Intruders, "I'll Always Love My Mama" Followed swiftly by; The Trammps, "Trusting Heart"
  9. In addition to your taste test, perhaps you can say what the price/Kg is as well. Red Leicester from Mons 24-month aged Parmesan (Cheese Block) vs. 36-month aged Parmesan (Mons).
  10. Did you fit yourself or do you have someone you can recommend to fit them? Thanks
  11. It's not just converters that are being taken, they have been known to break into BMW's (seems top be the flavour of the month car" and nicking air bags, steering wheels and even partial dashboards. Scary times. Can only assume that there's currently a black market for these items
  12. Look I agree totally with you about only paying what you owe, that's what I do, but seriously you have to remember that a lot of their staff are nothing less than a bunch of clowns, that can be extremely frustrating to deal with. Hence being polite to them and playing the long game. However sarcasm is the lowest form and wit and I don't appreciate it either, so I'll offer you some constructive advise; i) If as you say they have abused your personal data, (phone number and records) then as I said, if you have the solid proof which I hope you can evidence, then there are causes of redress to use against them that I have already mentioned. ii) Have you raised a formal complaint with Thames Water about what you are accusing them of? If you email [email protected] with all the details and evidence to support your case that will commence an investigation. That is the first step I'd recommend that you take. You'll get a complaints reference number and an assigned complaints handler (these are not not general complaints staff but several layers higher. I hope that is useful.
  13. Yes, Thames Water can be a difficult beast to engage with. I had issues with them, after much "discussion" shall we say they saw sense and for the last 6 month bill after the "compensation" they paid me for their incompetence to provide a service I still ended up in credit. You need to speak to the right people and then miraculously things suddenly happen and you go from being an extremely dissatisfied customer to a moderately contented customer. Do you have evidence that they have passed your details to third parties, if yes I'd be speaking with OfWAT and The Information Commissioners Office. Easy to say but try paying on time and don't get into an aggressive argument with them. Be prepared to play the long game, be nice to them and its amazing how helpful they can actually be.

  16. I don't get this "we don't have time to cook" or let's buy our weeks meals from as an example "Hello Fresh" or "Oakhouse" or "Paisley Box". I don't think there is a more expensive way to buy a week's worth of meals. I buy bread from the bakers, meat from the butchers, fresh veg, cupboard staples etc. from a supermarket and no I don't always have a great diet, but I try and make do with the weekly shop last and don't do top up shops. Week on week you see the prices increasing, it's already hard and sadly it's going to get harder, especially if as is being said there's a recession around the corner. I don't know how households afford the likes of meals from Just Eat or Deliveroo, but they are happy to fork out for them, Is it Money Rich and Time poor or Time Rich and Money Poor?

  18. Everyone within Critical Care and A&E Majors at Kings, you all do a superb job, we cannot thank you enough for what you do every day to help patients get better from horrific potentially life changing events and give them a second chance at life. You did it for me in 2016 and I will always be eternally grateful for everything you did after nearly three weeks in a coma. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
  19. Sounds like a good idea to relocate the female with her mate
  20. Absolutely agree, they look lovely and are very ingenious. It must take the makers a long time to make each individual one because of the amount of detail they include.
  21. It's Friday again, so it can only mean more "Going home for the weekend" tracks. First up is a remix of Brass Construction's Movin by Djinji Brown Followed swiftly by Marcus Miller from the Tutu Revisited LP (Live) featuring the superb Christian Scott, Hannibal. An absolutely stonking jazz track.
  22. Try Wildlife Aid https://www.wildlifeaid.org.uk/contact-us/
  23. Even funnier their is the beginnings of talk on GB News of Starmer being replaced, so much for a united team, you really couldn't make it up even if you wanted to!!!
  24. Nice to see Diane Abbott already attacking Keir Starmer stating "he should consider resigning if fined". What's the saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. So much for party unity, and look at the shower 58& have put back in to run the council. Maybe don't just start to throw stones in glasshouses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
