Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > TE44 Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Not banned here sue > > > Eh? > > I never said it was! Sorry Sue, readinv my post I can see it's confusing. I meant not banned in this country but it is here https://backtotheroots.com/blogs/bttr/a-complete-list-of-all-countries-that-have-banned-glyphosate And many other countries are fighting to have it banned. I think the business with WHO (world health organisation) stating it was likely to be carcinogenic, after studies back in 2015, feels a half hearted and I do not believe WHO to have our health at the heart of there organisations. WHO knows.

I see what you're saying Cat, but I don't agree, you do not forget hardships as many people who go through it, whether getting out or not are also grateful for many things tbat would not be recognised by people born into a class where they haven't experienced the struggle to eat. People who have moved up in monetary health who have family who would still be classed as poor are often told, don't forget where you're from.
-
I think people who have done better from poor backgrounds but still not middle earners, would want to help. If its suggested from government it would not be so freely given, esp this government, as they have divided people so much. the damage they have and continue to do will not be forgotten. When any young person does any work experience, the higher paid do not recognise (not all) the struggle to get the fare for them to work for free. Yet workers in low wage will often put the hat round. My mum used to say that's why the rich are rich. This government have done all they can to breed fragmentation in people outside of the class of money and power.

Ha ha What about green, they'll have alkanet diggers, preparing medicines with its many properties and natural dye from its roots. Think Of the money we'd save on pharmy bill. Oops no that would never do either.

Not banned here sue

I would not trust Monsanto, there is a disrespect for nature and people. There is no doubt in my mind the roots of evil does not lie under the alkanet plant.

Did she kill him? It's basically the same story wherever you read it. But no reports on How bad the injury was.wrong for a decision to be reached on how bright she is etc. Suppose it shows that the GMC employing convicted criminals might not be something that is questionable. The junior doctor working in paediatrics from Lordship Lane jailed for indecent photos of children (family Roo) could be practising again. Feels like not only the courts have laws that can be individualy indiscriminate.

It's poison, dig them up and if you're not able to, ask your neighbour (who may grow organically). I'm sure they'd help you dig them out for you. http://www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/roundup-quick-death-for-weeds-slow-and-painful-death-for-you/

Strange doesn't begin to cover it Ha ha. That's great and nice of them to accomnodate. Shame now they can ignore post mortems of people with almost empty stomachs bar a few spoonful of beans and the only food in the house being the remainder of the tin in a cupboard.

You don't have to live something to feel it, but the problem for me about scholars perception, not saying its not interesting to look at things things already looked at, how things worked or didn't but this is a very different world. The whole view of people being comfortable or not, causing injustices or being on the other side of that has often been portayed by people who have been able to take the time philosophying while the people suffering the hardships are trying to survive. I'm not saying there view is not appreciated nor can't be learnt from. I'd like to see room for people in goverment who know what it's like to be turned away from a food bank cause your voucher has run out, because You were to ill to walk there and didn't have the bus fair. Im fed up hearing all the intellectual conversations. I'd like to hear people not only get a chance to say what it's like for them but be part of the change. Edit for spelling misrakes

No social housing, children being separated from there mothers because they have refused a place 200 miles from where they were born, leaving there families who help support them. Food banks now accepted as a way for the hungry. It's disgusting anyone who would rather argue over a word to describe someones hunger.I agree Lordship 515 it's about being human. Maybe people haven't been affected by the horror that has been and continues. I can only imagine where its going, I have never voted any of the main parties, but wished that Corbyn had asked the tories in his party to leave, allowing new people maybe even without experience to be elected who were passionate about fairness and ready to make real changes.

Jules and Boo I think a lot of these companies, cash for clothes have closed down. Many being very specific about what they wanted. I'd imagine people got fed up Of being ripped off.

And its mostly clothes they want.Free shop in threshers.

This move to charge for already installed solar panels is discouraging and unfair. It shows this goverment do not care about our health. At the same time many of the free schools are charities therefore exempt from this tax. High on the goverments agenda, feels like anything that hasn't happened, they will do everything in there power to push it through, regardless of what people want. The returns will be cleaner air. Edit to make post clearer

Yes I agree, for this area. I would not rule it out if i was in an area where there are more homeless sleepinv on the streets. I would not have a problem if anyone who needs things coming from another area. Shame things can't be organised. seems such a waste.

Siousxiesue, To be honest, I'd just rather see it being used rather than not. I used to leave stuff in bags tied loosely, with an extra bag, a cardboard notice asking to keep it neat. I don't do it now as I don't want someone getting hassled over picking up something they may need, rather than it be chucked. I had someone knock at my door today asking if i was selling somethings i'd put out. I think its wrong to assume people just want something for nothing, i'd imagine some people would give a donation if they took something from outside the shop they know wont be taken in.
-
I have left things outside charity shops in the past, knowing homeless and people who are skint will take them. I now put things on my wall for People to help thereselves to. If people are aware charity shops wont take anything left outside, i'd assume they are leaving it to be taken. Does anyone know what happens to donations left outside that aren't taken.

NewWave, what would you like to see happen to donations left outside, since shops can't sell them.
