  5. copy cat.
  6. It is quite new.
  7. I don?t know which season of D Who you?ve been watching but I?ve never heard a Dalek say, ?I'll 'ave yer' up the stairwell?
  8. Miss! Mathew123 has posted an imbedded webpage from the mirror in the Ireland France thread and now I can?t see any of the rest of the thread Miss.
  9. What quids said.
  10. Have you ever actually put skittles in beer? All the colouring runs and makes it go murky.
  11. Actually I would. Call me na?ve but sport should be play in a sportsmanlike manner. Otherwise what?s the point? I realise that at professional level the lines get blurred and people do things like this now and gain but it doesn?t make it ok. It?s against the rules and that?s it. If you can?t play within the spirit of the game at least do so within the rules and don?t expect any quarter when you break them. In general most professionals still maintain some degree of integrity. Although this is perhaps a case in point as to why I normally shun professional club football and only take an interest in the game once every 4 years even though I?ve played it myself for the better part of 25 years.

Italian restaurant (Si Mangia) There's also Local on East Dulwich Road but it's overpriced and wanky.
  14. There people go again expecting the French to have some concept of sportsmanship in the first place. So now what? I was counting on being able to support Ireland next year. Now all I can do is watch South Africa lose in the groups. Then what? Support England? I support England in most sports but the current football team is such a bunch of prima donna, semi-criminal chavs I don?t know if I can bring myself to do it.

  19. You can say the same about other human beings though. I can only assume that your plane of consciousness is similar or the same to mine. I don?t know though. I can assume that a dog?s is different but similar in some respect only but observing the similarities and difference in the way they react to things. Not to sure if I have some kind of point though.

That's not true. We can communicate with plenty of animals very well, most notably dogs.
  21. I find it?s normally full of people from East Dulwich who use a ?healthy walk through the park? as an excuse for a daytime pint.
  22. MrBen thinks I?m camp. I don?t come across as camp, do I?
  23. I think you folks are missing the point of this thread. If I may refer you to the opening post, ?Local historian and author Brian Green, of Dulwich Village, will be giving a fascinating insight into the transformations of East Dulwich and Dulwich Village in the Victorian period? It isn?t really to do with our employers not paying us enough to afford Georgian piles.
  24. I saw Michio Kaku in a documentary recently where he basically came to the conclusion that while we can create artificial intelligence to a degree and make lifelike robotic representations of ourselves we are still very far off ever being able to reproduce the infinite intricacies that would make up human thought and emotion.
