  1. Here's the other thread. So 2 sightings both by people who claim not to have been on LSD at the time. Intriguing. *strokes beard* http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,247969,248434#msg-248434
  2. I've got a Napalm Death album here that was released in 1987. Does that make it classic rock?

  5. I didn?t even know this place existed. I would like to try Central and West African food.

The only toiletries I possess are a bar of Imperial Leather, a tube of Arm and Hammer, a jar of Brilliantine and a bottle of Old Spice. I am already 2 over the quota for proper manliness. Curse this metrosexuality!
  7. I may be along a bit later. 'bout tenish
  8. See you on the 176 back from Camberwell at 5am then quids.
  9. I didn?t realise African and Caribbean foods were similar. I?ve had Caribbean food in London and have had traditional food in most of the parts of Southern Africa but admittedly no further North than Angola. Is it more similar to central and West African food?

You need proper long hair though for some proper big spikes. They wouldn?t let me in Adwassitname with my hair like that. It was purple then too.
  11. I thought that too Jeremy but who are we to judge on what people thought back in the olden days. They could only listen to it by telegraph or pony express so a little was lost in the transmission.
  12. I?m perfectly comfortable with my age thank you Kel. I even have a grey hair which I have been nurturing for I think it makes me look distinguished. Wax, gum and paste all sound unhygienic. I would rather have remained ignorant of these newfangled products with which the youth and those who aspire to youthfulness choose to foul their barnets.
  13. I?m very modern me, most of my albums are post 1990 but pre 2000 funnily enough. I do however like some songs from the olden days. The following make me look back longingly to the days when everything was in black and white, Britannia still ruled the waves, hobnails and tweed were an honest man?s working clobber and mullets featured heavily on something called ?Top of the Pops? Minor Threat - Minor Threat Sound System ? Operation Ivy Bikeage ? Descendents Burning Love - Elvis Love Her Madly ? The Doors Suspect Device ? Stiff Little Fingers AC/DC ? Highway to Hell Ramones ? The one with wanna or gonna in the title I think it mentions of Sheena, Judy, Jonnie and/or contains some hey-hos or a gabba gabba hey.
  14. Or, the people that drink there can?t read and/or are too busy gelling their hair, making big knots in their shiny ties or attending school to post on here?
  15. Well it used to be somewhere much better but alas they sold up and left ED bereft of the dingy little bar with character and characters. Then the Drum closed followed by the short-lived record shop. Things aren?t what they used to be. Hell in a hand basket I tell you. The whore of Babylon will be riding leviathan over the horizon any day now. So at least something interesting might happen.
  16. Oh so is that the correct term for the poles they have in those West End bars?
  17. I don?t like the Bishop much but I always seem to end up in there. It?s god/karma/the universe or whatever you want to call her playing bastard silly buggers with me all the time. But luckily, if you aren?t a masochistic idiot like me, ED is full of far superior, cheaper and friendlier places to drink.
  18. Fucking woof fuck fuck woof.

Well yes. It is good to be a man.
  20. Do I live in the same place as all of you? Yes I see children around. This is normal. Considering that every person was once a child I am sometimes surprised that one doesn?t see more children around. Funnily enough I never feel overrun by them any more than I would by the 20 somethings without kids or the elderly. When I go out it seems full of all sorts of people some of them are in families. Again am I wrong in thinking this is a normal thing? A couple have children and they go about as a family unit. It is certainly what I intend on doing when I reproduce. Or am I misled and is it done in some other way? I would like to take this opportunity to call you all idiots for even having this idiotic debate. Not that I can really bring myself to read much of it but I?ve got a feeling that it probably contains references to butchers, stupid assumptions about perambulators, accusations of class prejudice and a whole lot more idiocy about bollicks. (Has it got onto homophobia, racism, homeopathy or dogs yet?) Take a few doses of, get the fuck over it, and hopefully you should feel better in the morning. Ps. Any exception taken to my callous generalisations or pointing out the hypocrisy of me contributing to something, the contributing to which I have just rubbished, will be treated in the manner of a five year old with it?s fingers in its ears.
  21. I may do. He?s good with plants him. He has the most perfectly manicured and geometrically correct lawn I?ve ever seen.
  22. I?m sure the irony in that it was an estate agent doing the hanging up is not lost on many people.

  24. From an arborophile such as myself? Never!
  25. I did Citizen. Last night in fact.
