You can?t make people sort out their personal relationships but you can provide them with schools, houses, sporting facilities and a police force that will stop crime taking route in their communities. Diddums. So daddy wasn?t around. They still get the same access to education, healthcare and housing as millions of other kids in the same situations who manage to become functional members of society. If the police stop criminality from being an option kids will have to find other routes.

I think we?re asking the wrong questions. If somehow we can muster a thousands-strong army of police to attack, harass and abuse largely peaceful and law abiding people why aren?t they on the streets letting their aggression out on criminals instead? The police are basically thugs (I know this as 2 of my best mates are police. Coincidentally, one of them will agree with me on this and the other will want to have a barney) but they are supposed to be thugs who are on our side. They are supposed to be out there giving what-for to the thugs who aren?t on our side. We can, quite rightly, blame parents etc. but we employ this paramilitary style police force. Why aren?t they working for the public good? Having to shoot someone yourself because there is no functional or interested police force is not the answer in a civilised country no matter how much of a bonner the idea gives some people.

Honey can be used to dress wounds and it does stop them from getting infected to a degree because part of its natural function is to be slightly antibiotic. Good tip if you are out in the wilderness, badly injured and still have the energy to smoke out a hive and harvest some wild honey. Not some miracle cure thought that will be any more beneficial than some savlon or soap and water. In general though I think most people stick to eating it rather than rubbing it on themselves to save on Elastoplasts.

Apparently it contains enzymes which produce hydrogen peroxide which is antibacterial. All honey is antibacterial to some degree (helps protect the baby bees) but according to them this stuff is more so. So if you are using it to dress infected wounds or cure botulism perhaps it is worth it.

Just think about how far those poor bees have to fly.
