  1. The Fear is one thing and you can but pray that it is only paranoia because when you have a sudden attack of memory and the revelation of your true sins worms its way through the seething mass of your aching mind, so begins, the Horror.

Nice holiday snap Sean old chap.
  3. Listening to Sepultura, Arise. 13 tracks of absolute, angry, Brazilian genius. Where?s the devil-horns-fingers smiley? Oh well the one that everyone thinks is a thumbs up but is actually sticking 2 middle fingers up will have to do. >:D<
  4. About a six or, Batman. Sullen ad brooding. Plotting my revenge on the universe.

  6. Wot Jah said. The news services alone are worth the fee. Not to mention what is widely thought of as the best website in the world. We are hugely lucky to have an independent public service broadcaster in this country. It would be a sad day indeed if the information we received came only from the likes of Murdock inc. and the politically biased news papers. Not to mention how valuable it is to people in other countries with state/corporation controlled media who use it as a source of unbiased information. While I may have a few gripes about it and I don?t think it is perfect all-in-all the BBC is one of the things the people of Britain should be justifiably proud of.
  7. Last night, about a 12 by my reckoning. Right now about 5. I feel horrid and philosophical though. Why would god do this to someone? Why I ask you? Guess what though. They sell Brooklyn Larger in the Bishop.
  8. The most useful peculiarity of the British Parliament is the House of Lords. One that isn?t used for that public good as it could be. Mostly because the MPs from both Labour and the Conservatives do not have the public good on their agenda and have therefore been trying to destroy the House of Lords for years. Here?s what I would do with regards the House of Lords: ? Get rid of all appointed and heredity peers ? Install a system whereby peers are first nominated on merit by, industry bodies, the judiciary, academia, and such and then elected by their industries. ? Make it illegal for peers to be politically affiliated in any way. ? Make any attempt to influence the House of Lords politically an act of high treason. ? Fully reinstate all powers for the Lords to reject legislation. Then I would address the House of Commons thusly and in the words of Queenie of Blackadder fame: First I am going to have a little drinky and then I?m going to execute the whole bally lot of you. I will then implement your suggestions for proper political representation.
  9. I saw it more as her leaving a gap between bat and pad.
  10. It turned out that life in the workhouse could be quite tolerable, even beneficial to our family?s health. Perhaps it was down to being away from the menace of Dr Loochie or perhaps it was the firm friendship that soon developed between father and the house master Mr Jennings. Either way after only a week the uncomfortable gait with which mother used to walk had disappeared. Father?s, alas, never did. Edited: because mother didn?t walk with a gate and Mr Jennings wasn?t a mast. Then once more to add this.

Not for bath plugs, TVs, cushions etc. With views like this and the many other imminently sensible and properly thought out ideas you often post it always baffles me how you can possibly support the current Conservative Party.
  13. And so started my days in the workhouse. While the work was tough and interminable the beatings were at least less frequent than they had been while in service to the Loochies.
  14. Fucking hippies.
  15. Did he foul any dogs while he woz in your cab? I?ve been considering getting little Scrappy an oilcloth doggy-jumper just in case I encounter this fellow.
  16. That's not nearly as rude as some of the versions we used to sing as kids.
  17. How many pages does this have to go on for before I can flounce out, declaring this band has sold out and that I remember them when they were stilled called, Stuntman?
  18. Dishwasher related accident. Stuck my head in it.
  19. Oh yeah the re-education thing. Got a memory like an elliptically shaped piece of wire mesh used to sift flour.
  20. Did I? Something from Nineteen Eighty-Four like these: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/file.php?20,file=3942
  21. Hey how?s that for coincidence, Charlies also just posted something from Nineteen Eighty-Four over on the trousers thread.
  22. Or Kit-Kat Marshmallow. The lesser know Elizabethan confectioner.
  23. Oh dear. In those trousers.
  24. I think she?s done one because for some inexplicable reason all of a sudden some people just don?t get it.
