  2. Also hearing that Thames Water had issues at Crystal Palace pumping station last night.

  4. Now getting low pressure.
  5. Map is back up, but no indication of where the leak actually is.
  6. No water on the Lordship Lane Estate.
  7. Someone has to pay for all those warning cards. Just got my bill in which has gone up a whopping ?150 for 2018/19!
  8. Going back to the Overground information issue, neither Denmark Hill or Peckham Rye are operated by TfL, so won't have first hand information on their services. One of the frustrating issues is that those two stations weren't handed to TfL, instead Denmark Hill is run by the god awful Thameslink and Peckham Rye by Southern, which in effect are the same company (Govia Thameslink Railway).
  9. I've been here since 1983 and Curry Cabin was around then. As for Sogim, another chemist which has been around forever. Was formerly a Co-op before becoming part of the two store Sogim pharmacy a few years back. Personally, I prefer Lloyds on North Cross Road. Never have issues getting meds from them, unlike Sogim.
  10. It took Thames Water five weeks recently to repair a water leak on LL by the Overhill Road bus stop. There was a larger leak by the telephone exchange at around the same time too.

On 4G? 3G/HSPA cuts out in a triangle from Belvoir Road to Melford Road with EE I've found where the signal from the cell site on the corner of Dulwich Common/LL (the big black pole that looks like a street light) doesn't reach.
  12. If only the P4 and P13 could be re-routed via Court Lane (the P4 at one time did go through Court Lane), the reliability would improve. However we're stuck with the buses down Dulwich Common which cause a lot of the issues with both buses.
  13. 4G on EE has been nothing short of solid across the majority of ED. In fact, I don't get dropouts like I did on 3G.
  14. College is largely the same area as before, however it loses the area surrounding Dawson's Heights to Dulwich Hill. The Dulwich Wood boundary will be the Lordship Lane Estate, crossing over to Melford Road and then along Wood Vale towards Lordship Lane. So most of Underhill Road will be in Dulwich Hill, with the section between Melford and LL in Dulwich Wood as now.

It will happen eventually once new trains are transferred onto the Overground Watford line, which will give them extra units to operate on the ELL/SLL. There are also an extra 2 trains per hour planned for Crystal Palace as well.
  16. Note that there are some other new ward areas and changes of name that affect SE21/22. Dulwich Wood replaces College. Dulwich Village replaces Village. Dulwich Hill and Goose Green replaces part of Peckham Rye and East Dulwich with a tiny part of College. Champion Hill replaces South Camberwell. Peckham Rye will only cover the side of SE22 on the other side of Forest Hill Road, i.e Therapia Road.
  17. The coach stop outside Stratford station is always very popular.
  18. One thing LL isn't short of is independent florists. As well as the one on the corner of Barry Road/LL, there's also Indaco's Flowers next to the Barcelona bar.
  19. I'm on TT Faster Fibre, 75 down, 18 up. But I'm next door to the exchange!
  20. Clearly the Thameslink staff at Denmark Hill have been told not to let passengers through, despite the Freedom Pass being perfectly valid on London Overground services before 0930. Another reason why Denmark Hill should be under the control of TfL instead of a fledgling rail franchise.
  21. The water on the Lordship Lane Estate has been turned off. Presumably as part of the work to fix the main.
  22. One of the issues particularly if you live at the Goose Green end of ED is the lack of rail services. 4 trains per hour to London Bridge, so the buses are heavily used. Yes, Denmark Hill further up the road has more trains, but are badly spaced out. I was at DH today where two trains in 8 minutes went to Victoria, followed by a 30 minute gap. Thameslink runs every 30 mins, leaving the Overground with a regular train service, At the FH/HOP end. 12 trains per hour to either Highbury & Islington or London Bridge. In any case, even if you miss a LB train at the end, you can hop on the Overground and change at Canada Water. Worth remembering the 176 bus service has been cut earlier this year, although we have shiny new buses on them, replacing the Concorde engine buses which had been in service for 14 years.
  23. If any of the allocated buses need repairs, they will allocate other single door buses to the route to ensure a full service remains. This also happens on the P13, also operated by Abellio.
  24. The only co-ordination of roadworks in LL was one finishing on Monday by Caffe Nerro and another further up the road two days later.
  25. At long last, there are new buses on the 176 today which don't roar as they rattle past.
