  1. I'm closer to Forest Hill station, so can get the Overground or Southern from there or within walking distance or P13 to West Dulwich for trains to Victoria.
  2. The official timetable for the P4 is every 12 minutes, P13 is every 15 mins, 20 evenings and Sundays. Reliability is a major issue due to traffic on the South Circular Road which affects both routes. The P4 was recently retendered to Stagecoach with no improvement to the service, nor longer buses which are required for this service.
  3. Personally I can't see a complete loss of service between Victoria and Lewisham, it's more likely the current service will be diverted via Sidcup to Dartford leaving the Bexleyheath line with services to Cannon Street.

  5. Every 10 minutes through the day, 12 off-peak and Sundays. A retrograde move when the 176 is always busy.
  6. I don't know the pay structure for the Peckham Plex, but is London's only independent mulitplex cinema. The other is a sub-brand of Cineworld which kept the brand as a premium product.
  7. Surely the SE22 postcode mail could be split between the Dulwich Delivery Office in Alleyn Park which is closer to some SE22 postcodes and Highshore Road for those who down the Goose Green end of ED?
  8. A massive shame. I live closer to Forest Hill sorting office than Peckham and I don't relish getting either the 197, 363 or changing at Dulwich Library for the 12 just to pick up an oversized parcel.

Brixton and Crystal Palace > being the two obvious ones. Depends where you are. 37 serves East Dulwich Road/Grove and Goose Green. P4 along the far end of LL and the Lordship Lane Estate. Where it's really an issue is getting to parts of Southwark without a change of bus. Nunhead, Rotherhithe and Bermondsey without having to change buses. (Although some of you down the Peckham Rye end can get the 78 or P12. It's easier to get to Penge or Croydon than to Nunhead!

It can be quicker to get the Overground and change at Crystal Palace.
  11. Kate Hoey voted for Article 50 despite Vauxhall having the largest amount for remaining in the EU.
  12. Peckham still has a main post office on Peckham High Street opposite the bus station, however some of those customers who used the old Rye Lane branch at the Peckham Rye end will find the LL branch easier to use.
  13. I was on an older P13 bus on Thursday when the driver parked up at Goose Green to phone the garage to report defects with the internal lights and the passenger bell. This was at 3.10pm and with it being dark an hour later, he wanted to take the bus out of service at Streatham Station. He was told to carry on.

East Dulwich PO was proposed to become a franchised branch, but was rejected and the refurbishment is the result. I suspect they're short staffed after Christmas.
  15. Worth noting that it's a Saturday timetable on London Overground from Dec 27, overnight services will run to West Croydon and Crystal Palace on New Year's Eve until around 0300. Southeastern are also operating overnight services to Denmark Hill, Peckham Rye, Nunhead, Herne Hill, West Dulwich & Sydenham Hill on NYE from Victoria. Route 185 will also operate overnight every 20 mins on NYE.
  16. I seem to recall that Southwark at one point proposed to remove the roundabout for a standard junction with traffic lights. This was rejected.
  17. Does the Co-op in Forest Hill Road sell the bread? There's also the store in Forest Hill past the railway bridge on the South Circular.

  19. There are no through trains to East Croydon during the day on weekdays until further notice. They can either get on another train to Norwood Junction from East Croydon to change for the Overground, or get the tram Routes 1 or 2 to West Croydon and change for the Overground or as mentioned walk between the two stations.
  20. Scraping the barrel here. Heart FM DJ Lucy Horobin getting on buses either in Goose Green or Grove Vale.
  21. The last P13 from West Dulwich station is at 23.21 towards New Cross Gate. However the last P4 from Dulwich College towards Lewisham is at 01.12.
  22. EE is mainly fine in ED. Only real gap in coverage is Wood Vale/Horniman Triangle.
  23. Worth checking the National Rail site or train app as the Journey Planner has removed more services than Southern have publicised. Forest Hill/HOP lose two trains per hour off-peak as Caterham (via East Croydon) are cancelled.
  24. More details from Southern on the latest changes to Metro services, which include weekends on non-strike days. http://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/strike/travel-advice-for-aslef-overtime-ban
  25. Southern have tweeted that tomorrow, there are no Beckenham Junction trains at all tomorrow, nor the peak Wimbledon services. Southern services from Forest Hill/HOP are not affected.
