  2. There are 2 houses opposite me which have recently been "developed", with both of them having had solar panels put on the roof - the wrong way round! Does anyone know if its likely that the builders would have had grants for these?

And of course, you're right in saying that work without literary merit is fine, if it encourages people into libraries. I am aware that there is a lot of rubbishy chick lit and that kind of thing there, and I really have no problem with that, really. However...this was seriously seriously ghastly.
