  1. Mick - possibly, but I am looking for a variety of options.
  2. Is it possible to have non-flat shoes that are both: a) comfortabe? b) desirable? Is Cath Kidston's clothing a bit naff? I just can't work it out. What should I wear these with? http://www.toast.co.uk/product/shoes/FFFA1/patent+faust+heel.htm?categoryref=%2fcategory2.aspx%3fcategoryid%3dshoes% 26seoterm%3dshoes%26 I have got the silver ones, not the blue ones.
  3. Is it just me or has being on the internet become more addictive recently? Or has real life become less desirable?
  4. God - Given that KK looks DREADFUL here, what hope can there be for us older uglier chunkier persons? charliecharlie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > the high waister jean (as they call it the trade) > has, as others have mentioned, been in for some > time... but are in my view about to be out again > for some time > > you know my views on the matter... do your own > thing, if it feels good do it, if the cap fits... > etc. etc. etc. > > seems like the high waiters are giving Keira a > stiff neck... have a look... if you think they > don't look good on her then...
  5. DM - I would really prefer to spend less than ?300 on any single item of clothing. Anyway, now that you are shopping in Morrisons, or Asda or whatever - I thought you'd be sporting Coleen McLoughlin's clothing line. No?
  6. Why don't you post a pic of yourself and let the forum decide? ???? 7. It does seem like a decent idea - I am always panicking about exposing a load of flesh when I am doing the gardening. The whole practicality/comfort v fashion dilemma.
  8. You know how the default trouser position is low waisted these days? Well, how are you supposed to keep your midriff warm, since tops seem to be correspondingly a bit on the short side? Is it time to resurrect the body suit from the early 90s? Or should I just be searching out high waisted trousers? Seriously, I had to use my jacket as a draught excluder down at The Magdala last night. Personlly, I would quite welcome the return of the bodysuit.
  9. Yeh - Mr WQ is out cutting the hedge - and if you change the view it's obvious that he has clocked the googlecar - in fact after it had passed he came into the kitchen to tell me he'd just seen it.
  10. If you're looking for SE22 mag. you can pick it up from the library. Mind you - they don't do the rumours section anymore which was my fave bit.
  11. The answer is, as with so many of the reality shows.... SIMPLY TO BE ON THE TELLY. It's not even a question of making money.
  12. Sorry if I am going off topic here. But loving Brendan's contributions.
  13. Jeez this thread is a let down - its VERY light on St Patricks Day fashion.

Better to give up biscuits than....DRINK! I am sure Dulwichmum would agree with me on this one.

    LOL Posts

Brendan really made me laugh today with these: They?re dangerous I tell you. Just the other day I was in a rush to get out the house and put my hoodie on backwards. Being inexplicably blinded I tripped down the stairs and accidentally mugged 2 pensioners. In fact removing certain items of clothing [sic] normally gets you thrown out of places in my experience. I blame yuppies trying to organic everything with their global warming.
  18. Just had a call from Mr Wee Quinnie: the guy who he is covering for has just turned up to work, having left home at 9 this morning!!
  19. BN5 - doesn't it depend on how far the commute is?
  20. Similary=ly, but oppositely Melbourne has temperatures around 45 degrees at the mooment, and all of the public transport has ground to a hoalt because the leccy grid has gone into melt down.
  21. What about this one? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dekker-Noddy-Friction-Car/dp/B0002VZ0KC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=kids&qid=1233317572&sr=1-1 Oh and heres one for Dulwichmum: http://www.prezzybox.com/products/index.aspx?pid=2625
  22. JiMBOB- I am SURE Tim D has gone downhill since we had this discussion. Hats off to ya. imbob Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > sorry quinnie have to disagree on that one, while > the occasional dowling column is good, on the > whole there are more misses than hits, whereas > ronson was good every week. > still miss was it mill millington and his column.

    Summer

This was my initial thought as well. When Australians come to stay at Casa WQ - its for weeks on bloody end. *Bob* Wrote: > Careful, Rosie. > They're Australian. > Before you know it, there's a knock on your door, > the backpacks are blocking the hallway and they're > sleeping on your lounge floor for six weeks - > gratis.
  24. Is it just me, or does anyone else translate MP as both Mockney Piers and Michael Palaelogus before they think of Member of Parliament? Sorry!
