  1. Thanks guys - have managed to uninstall it. Very odd business.
  2. OH yeh! Forgot about him. I had a bit of a thing for him as well. EEK! RosieH Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Not in a skirt, DI Frank Burnside - there's a slim > chance he might call you "treacle" while cuffing > you
  3. Sorry to bore you, but.... I keep getting "Dell Media direct" insistently popping up on my laptop. Does anyone know how to suppress it?
  4. What are you suggesting BBW? I am a Convent girl! bigbadwolf Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > So Quinnee my love. Did you indulge in the > occasional 5 fingered discount? I bet you did.
  5. Oh Mick - I'd forgotten about Crazy Prices! Such a great name. Mick Mac Wrote: > > My first brush with the law was stealing a Mars > Bar 3 pack from "Crazy Prices" supermarket in > Northern Ireland -
  6. Actually, I'd be perfectly happy if it remained untouched. But I am sure thats the last thing you want to hear, Ellie.
  7. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Noseybonk. The stuff of nightmares. Yeh- reminds me of Clockwork Orange for some reason.
  8. The difference is most forumites have been too reticent to step up to the plate for this one. It's supposed to be about embarrassment factor. ???? 9. OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Hey! I've just twigged to the whole embarrassing aspect of L. Duncan.....is it to do with the portrayal of Thatcher?
  10. Andystar - at Portillo or Brand? Or both? What's embarrassing about Lindsay Duncan, BBW?
  11. Georgia - I know what you mean. georgia Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > John Nettles, sorry but he does it for me even > since his Bergerac days
  12. Following on from celebrity crushes. What about the embarrassing ones? For me - and OMG - I can't believe I'm about to tell you this.... Russell Brand (just because I find him completely unfunny, nothing to do with Sachsgate) and Michael Portillo. I KNOW!! And before you say anything....I wouldn't let them TALK to me. OK???
  13. OH MY GOD. It is so unlike me to leave food uneaten. But these bloody f and c crisps are seriously disgusting.
  14. Well I have been away in that I have not been on the EDF that much. I think the last time I was on, all you main poster people (Keef/ Piers et al) were probably on about 2000 posts. I haven't left SE22 either - in fact....I was sitting RIGHT BEHIND YOU at the showing of In Bruges last week. Still, I am probably going to be on here a bit more regularly now, as I have exam revision to avoid. I did actually do a search on Walkers before I posted this thread - but I was too slack to read through all the results - so sorry about the repeat thread. Oh - and re the other thread - I think you'll find it was ME who originally drew your attention to the scallion flavoured crisps from the Tayto website.
  15. To save me the bother of troughing my way through Walkers Ltd edition crisps range. Can anyone tell me which are the must haves and which to avoid. I have recently had the onion bhaji which I liked, and had to throw away the fish and chips one because they were vile.
  16. Where is The Duke? I've not heard of this place.
  17. Is this thread anything to do with that potato exhibition they have down in the art gallery at the end of North X Rd. every year? I seem to remember they did a v good Amy Winehouse last year - and in fairness, she really isn't very potatoey looking at all.
  18. The shoes are beautiful everyone. Yours. Not mine.
  19. Looks a bit draughty DM. What the hell, I'll turn the heating up full blast. ulwichmum Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Any site that suggests these for nightwear is best > left for old ladies in institutions sweetie. > > Why not visit Agent Provocateur?
  20. DM - was the booze free then? Who were your celeb chefs? (Sorry realise I have gone a bit off topic). William Hague looks vaguely potatoey.
  21. Nicky Hambleton-Jones.
  22. D_C I don't think you want to marry me. From the replies I have had on here, it appears that I may in fact be Sebastian's frumpy sister Cordelia. david_carnell Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Wee Quinnie - did you just compare me, as Moos > suggests, to Sebastian Flyte? > > *faints* > > Will you marry me? > >
  23. I am definitely GETTING old. I spend FAR too much time expounding on how great M and S merino thermals are. ("Recommended by the motorbike mags you know..." - Oh dear God- there I go again). I think I may have to take to my bed as I can't bear the thought of stumbling round Dulwich in *shudder*...HEELS! Urgh. >> > OHMYGOD...In the name of God and all of his saints > and angels!!! > > Darling wee quinnie, send those shoes right back > immediately. Chin up sweetie, > shoulders back and walk tall.
  24. *Bob* - can you not get me on the quinniecam?
  25. David - I think you can, but people may draw comparisons with Sebastian Flyte. Not that that is a bad thing, but maybe this is not what you wanted. I am sure you can carry this off with aplomb though. Forgot to mention - I like the London Town stuff IN THEORY - however the women's stuff is slightly scary. I quite like the mens, though.
