I love my dog but feel terrible that I have so little time for him due to work. I leave my house at 8am and got back after 10pm last night and went straight to bed.

This is not unusual and I feel that it's not fair on my dog to be stuck in my house all day during the week.

I take him out before I leave for work but 40 minutes round the park in the whole day is not enough.

Does anyone with time on their hands want to share my dog?

He is nearly 4 yrs old, is castrated and chipped. Is good with kids and other dogs and loves being made a fuss of.

PM me if you think you'd like to share my dog.

Thanks

If you dont get any takers why not get a dog walker to come and collect him on a daily basis and take him out for a few hours.. We pay for 2 hours for our little nipper but she is generally gone about 5 by the time she is picked up and dropped off.. let me know if you want the details..

Daizie - my Hannibal is not one for the ladies, so I think he'll be happy as Larry!

I can't afford a dog walker - I take him out in the morning early, so he does get a walk, but I feel bad leaving him all day/

I thought someone who wants a dog, but doesn't have the space/money etc could borrow mine a few days a week or something.

    • Many years ago, our neighbours were in a Southwark rented property. Both flats in house had access to a shared garden which was fenced off part way with each flat having their own piece of land. The front garden was shared and since both flats had young children, they put up a fence and gate between front door and pavement. Nothing was said by the council and even though those neighbours are now living else where, the fence and gate still remain and Southwark owns the freehold.
    • If you can use it exclusively for yourself for 12 years it might become yours by default under squatters rights? Maybe whack a bench on it and plant some flowers and then a little hedge around the perimeter to keep people out? I'm not sure if any of this is legal but it might be fun finding out?
