agree with daizie, the friendship factor may have dwindled but people trying to flog stuff seems as busy as ever.:)

- People met each other, became friends and cut out the middle man.

- Or met each other and had a spat

- Or got married (hats off)

- Most topics have now been done to death. Square plates being a notable exception.

- Lack of new posters with a brain (would a quick glance tempt you to post if you were new?)

- Inanity (as per Rosie's post above)...and yes you Woof!

- I'll say it....ED is far less interesting now than it was in the Great Age of Gentrification (circa 2000-2007) when property was cheap and new services, shops and bars sprouted by the month to the excitement of all concerned.

(If you enjoyed the ride move to Nunhead or Bellenden fringes for the next one)

- The suit count started to outweigh the creatives (always a sign that the next wave is elsewhere - see hoxton now).

If you think EDF is dead, you should check out Virtual Norwood aka Virtual Borewood, and now called by some wag Virtual Deadwood.

The admin there has suspended many of the movers and shakers in the local community who were posting about goings on at the Chamber of Commerce, and in particular about the plans by Chamber chair Mr Hall to build a ruddy great shopping centre on Crystal Palace Park.

    • Purse with cash and cards (including photo card) found in road local to East Dulwich Tabernacle. It will be here (107 Barry Road) all day (Sunday 21 December) if you want to collect or PM me.  In case some one else who knows R Howard, please alert her.    Thank you
    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
