I do not waste time checking such irrelevant details of inanimate objects woofy,

I go for the pleasure whether it was in cat litter, straw,

or Brentford nylons, which always included elbow, 'n knee cap burns.

Does not matter to real men how the bed is made, the pleasurable experience in it is all.

I have never knowingly given a sheet one.....

Sorry luv, but if you were on the hunt and made it to his bedroom it would be game over....regardless of silk sheets, cotton sheets, water bed, futon bed...or just a mattress on the floor!...I don't think you would be critiquing the decor and soft furnishings of the room!

Hmmm.....depends. A bit of multi-tasking could come in handy here.

And don't guys just love to get advice from their girlfriends on how to redecorate/furnish their apartment? No? ;-)

Sounds like what you should do is get some nice new sheets and some silk pillowcases. I googled those yesterday and found some for ?18 each. Tempted to get a pair myself. Feather and Black do some very nice soft silk effect cotton sheets and duvet covers a friend of mind bought a year or so ago and she really recommends them. They have a sale on as well.

Silk bedding will be amazing more than you thought.

Matching silk pillowcases can offer a different appearance to your bed or couch as well as lending a comfy appeal. Claiming to be useful for healthy hair plus skin, specific materials are used for matching silk pillowcase to be each engaging and comfortable in discovering new concepts for the pair. However, some manufacturers take advantage of our passion for color and use our weakness for what is trendy and fashionable to pass off poorly sewn comforter sets made from flimsy fabrics that won?t make it past one sleepover without a rip, tear or a failed trip through the laundry with where the dye either ran or faded to the point of no return. So take your time to find one real good seller would be save greatly cost. http://www.ellesilk.com or http://www.silksleep.com are all expert in China and if you don't want to shop so far, take Amazon for chance, although it does not expertise on it.

I tried silk sheets once I thought that I might fall out at the side, so I put my Zimmer in beside me and walking stick the other side, I have to have four pillows to prop me up. I woke up with a jolt as I had slid out of the bottom with my nightshirt up my legs reflecting in the mirror, not having my glasses I thought that I was entering the Blackwall Tunnel.

I have gone back to using cotton sheets and when it gets real cold I put my old army overcoat over the bed,and my beret over the pot to stop it freezing.

We used to have silk bedding for years, but eventually the romance dies off, and you end up wanting your own space, and eventually your own bed. The practicality wares off and it can give terrible chaffing in summer. I discovered the luxury bedding range at primark and never looked back. Does the same job for half the price!

Cool - something for my child's English lesson tomorrow - two spelling errors and an oxymoron in the same posting - discuss!

Bore off robbin. People that have to raise grammar and spelling superiority usually aren?t that great themselves. Shall I dissect some of your old posts and see what I can come up with? I?m sure it won?t take long, but unsurprisingly I have better things to do with my time, such as watching paint dry!

    • That said, organised displays could be on Saturday before and after and the actual day, and private ones could just not have the loud ones.  It’s all down to accessibility and people caring/not caring
    • The problem this year is that 5th November falls on a Wednesday. So some places will be bringing their "bonfire night" forward to Saturday 1st and some will be knocking it back to Saturday 8th and there'll probably be a few that just go with Wednesday 5th anyway. If you're doing a public display, having it on a weekend gets more crowds. Which basically means a solid week of fireworks.
    • Fireworks in this area do feel totally incessant at this time of year, almost every evening there is terrible noise. I feel great concern for wildlife, pets (I have a senior cat who hates them), as well as people who struggle with PTSD etc. Last year I even had people setting them off in front of my home. Tonight and yesterday evening have been particularly bad. Is there anything we can do as a community to prevent this? What action can we take? Surely we shouldn’t be expected to just put up with it every year for weeks on end!
    • Does anyone know what time tonight's events, the second night of the new phenomenon of Halloween Fireworks, end? These do sound too major to be anything but large- scale organised events and they are loud, very loud. So anyone, for their own reasons, that dislikes or objects to this level of noise for the next x amount of hours, really has no choice in the matter! Could those addicted to loud bangs possibly have a kind of silent disco setup with the bangs sent through headphones, so the rest of us could be spared?
