Sandperson
I thought that the gooners had got the better part of the Gallas/Cole deal when it first happened but it seems that William is a bit too quick to voice his feelings in public. I think he must be having some sort of slow mental break down since his floods of tears in the Eduardo game. Keano liked to have a go at players and fans alike but he knew how to time it a bit better I think. Ladygooner
I think Gallas will be off in January - back to France as per his wishes. The only 25 year old player I can think of who is as opinionated is Eboue - but I could be wrong. Ladygooner
Good news - it is reported Gallas has been stripped of his captaincy and will not be at Man City today. SHip him back to France asap I say! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/173/#findComment-149103 Share on other sites
Sandperson
Well, it's not looking good for United this weekend according to you lot. Are you all banking on a bit of Gabby action?Who'll get the armband LG? I've heard anyone from Clichy - a bit random - to Alumina - not sure about that either - what about Silvestre? I'm pretty sure he took the role on a few times for us when others were subbed or is it too early in his Arsenal career for him? Jah Lush
Oh dear oh dear. It just gets worse for the Arse doesn't it. Another poor display and another loss. Well played City. Three-nil and it could have been a lot more.He might still be young but I'd give the Arsenal captaincy to Cesc Fabregas. He's the best player at the club by a mile and will immediately gain the respect of his fellow players. He's pure class.Gallas has been a disaster as a Captain and I don't think he's been quite the same player he was when he was at Chelsea, but he has always been a moaner and I think it was very poor choice by Wenger to to make him captain in the first place.Anyway what do I care. Come on you Spurs! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/1210-football-focus/page/173/#findComment-149161 Share on other sites
Ladygooner
Yes definitely Fabregas for captain. Good win by City - but hey the sky hasn't fallen in and we are still in 4th place! Sandperson
It seems Aluminum was the wrong choice. I thought Fabregas was looking like he was on his way next summer. Jah Lush
Fabregas was on a one match ban against Man City but I think it's possible that Barcelona or Real Madrid would beckon at the end of the season if the Arse continue to win feck all. Sandperson
Bloody hell. An opportunity wasted tonight although I'm liking the fact that we've played the rest of the top five away now and let's face it Villa away is more of a challenge than either Fulham or Newcastle at home. Keef
Well he's bound to go somewhere. On MOTD they said Chelsea had been linked with a move for him, but not sure I can see that. Villa would be a great move for him, and if he stays fit he'd be a great signing for them!
