Well Piers if Fabio Capello can give that useless lump Darren Bent a cap he can certainly give Carlton Cole one too. He seems to go with form and Carlton Cole always did well with the Under-21s so I don't see why he can't get a leg up into the full squad if he is playing well.

Oh and by the way.....

"Spurs are on their way to Wembley

Tottenham's gonna do it again

You just can't stop 'em

The boys from Tottenham

The boys from White Hart Lane

Oh!"

ROBINHO PLEDGES FUTURE TO CITY

The Brazil forward has apologised to Mark Hughes and accepted a fine of two weeks' wages, about ?320,000, for leaving the club's training camp in Tenerife without permission. "I have a good relationship with him and have always respected his decisions," Robinho said. "I am looking forward to delivering as many goals as possible to help our team to the next level".

I always wonder what the club does with fines?

Morning football fans

There seems to be an issue where this thread is not moving to the top of the list when a new message is put on it. I have no idea why it is happening however an educated guess would be that the number of posts in this one thread (almost 5,000) is causing a strain on the system. So what I may do after I have monitored it for another day or so but not yet is lock this thread and ask someone to start a new Football Focus thread. This will mean that that Football focus will once again move to the top of the Lounge list when it is updated.

Sorry for the potential inconvenience and c'mon the Mighty Reds.

I was referring to the new which informs you when message is new, I was merely empowering it and encouraging it to work, it is a technical term.

It appears that new posts do make Football Focus appear at the top of the list but please do report it should it break.

Croatia star Dino Drpic has been transfer listed by his club after his Playboy model wife revealed the pair had sex on the pitch.

Nives Celsius made the embarrassing revelation on a Serbian chat show, saying she got intimate with defender Drpic under floodlights at Dinamo Zagreb's Maksimir Stadium.

He would be more than welcome at west ham we all have playboy wags.

    • I think it's a good idea and follows the example of other towns/areas. As it says in the article, the area around the main tourist attractions in Southwark, that is The Globe, Southwark Cathedral, Tate Modern and the whole walking route from London Bridge to Blackfriars, takes a lot of maintaining and it shouldn't be a burden on regular council tax payers like us.
