I do agree. That's what I would do if I had kittens. Unlikely though as I'd never let a cat outdoors. I did have an indoor cat once who was never able to kill everything in sight or cross the road in front of a car.


But I don't particularly want to open a can of catfood with this thought either.

If you remember, its was fecund feline fanciers with a feeble grip on reality lobbied about flogging mangy mogs on here, hence the outright ban.lets not get all selective emotional here, animals are a commodity - like habitat rugs, iphone 5s with a cracked screen or an ikea nest of tables - just cos the gormless have a hard on for one particularly offensive and destructive species doesnt mean that there should be a blankeet ban on everything. Thats not playing fair by the rules of capital.

      I wonder if we haven't been suitably offended - did we miss  a trick in allowing the OP to call her a woman - perhaps the person identifies as gender fluid (or other) and is offended.

      Would you have jumped down the OP's throat if they'd described the perp as white, 50s, male?  How we morphed from a hurried post about a shop-lifter, to rampant racism, migrants and single mothers, I do not know.  And I thought the thread about hot dogs was hysterical....

      Yes tell the police..give them a description… what is the case for describing here, it’s irrelevant information. What’s the percentage of people in ED fitting that description. I’m sure the Daily Mail thinks all the irrelevant information about ‘migrants’ , ‘single mothers’  ‘etc etc is ‘fine’. Once on social media it instantly affects what people think and that’s the issue.       Some people find witnessing crime distressing. Maybe the poor OP was just rattled and wanted to let off steam here. Give them a break. It's the rest of you who jumped down their throat that require a little self reflection.
